last 30 seconds says it all: with golf, all extras cost you loads more money, but with auris it almost all included in the package, that is before you mention that toyota gives you 5 years waranty, vw still only 3 years. plus vw were cought cheating the market with their details about co figures and mpg details, and who knows what else, vw is a big name yes, but toyota is in trying to prove itself worthy, giving customers very good deal actualy, so yes, i;m for auris on this one.

Golfs are overrated as shit already 7 models came out , we don't need another one, in terms of built quality the golf wins , but now it just looks boring . On the other hand although I would go for the previous auris (looks better in my opinion) the new one looks fresh and different than the usual golf etc ...Toyota for me..

I think these car just look similar but their intention is different. Golf is a city sports car, while auris is just a good quality car. 70 pet cent of the video was focused on which car accelerates better and for that reason guys get a GTR or RS car straight away. The comprasion doesn't make any sense to me. No one is thinking of an Auris to go dragging at night. I would've liked to see not only acceleration and braking, but also the average time it takes an engine and transmission systems to fail from 0 km, the cost to repair it, the airbags performance, safety performance in a crash, petrol performance and price.

How did they prove the Auris did not have VSC exactly? I don't think you'd roll a car like an Auris or a Golf with a "moose" test, sure you might suffer understeer/oversteer (which VSC would help prevent) but you wouldn't roll it. Where was the test!? For the record, I'd have the Auris over the Golf. I guess Toyota are not using forced induction/Turbo technology because they'd want you to buy a Hybrid.

Auris all the way, it's just a pitty that Toyota decided to go for a similar ugly and outdated dashboard that VW is building into their cars for years and years. Hybrid and automatic transmission both use CVT. With regards to Golf: Turbocharging means higher pressure, higher temperature, higher weardown plus particular matter. Their DSG is notoriously unreliable and prone to breakdown. That's why VW generally issues shorter warranty times on their car, plus upkeeping them is costly.

Give 1 Auris best engine and one Golf best engine .. Rules : allow to put only oil and filters . Drive it together in same roads couple years till one of them brake and can’t go anymore .. Everybody know Auris will past the golf with thousand’s of km’s .. Name Auris mean GOLD and Golf is just similar to name to gold 😂😂 Golf is for kids and Auris is for men .. Golf is for normal people and Auris is for smarter one .. BTW i drive Honda .. King give opinion to kids 😂😂

Blindley I would choose the Golf. Toyota is such an ugly car with no personality or identity. I would mistake it with all Korean and Japanese brands. They're all the same rubbish design.
