VW Golf Mk7 5 R FULL JL AUDIO VXI and C7 car audio upgrade Ep 1
A different one from us, trying some new kit from JL Audio to see how it fares against our current crop of incredible products. It best be good if it wants to shoehorn its way into our slew of top-notch offerings!
I've got quite high hopes for the JL Audio VXI and C7 equipment considering my long and fuzzy feeling nostalgic history with JL Audio and their reputation as one of the biggest names in car audio.
We'll be recording multiple episodes documenting this build and in particular the use and functionality of the JL Audio products, so keep posted and subscribe for more videos!

You are going to love it. I would suggest going with a VX600/2 and a VX1000/5 with the hub. You are going to want more than 75 watts on the C7 mid bass

Following. I have a JL TwK88 in my E90. I have found the software to be very user friendly and intuitive. I have an alpine type-r 12” at present and have thought about going for a JL 12”.

In the past long time ago I have 4 (15”) W3 JL audio with 2 JL 1000/1 slash was so happy but now I only have 1 (12”) Dynaudio 1200 and I’m so excited with this subwoofer 🔊 It’s awesome 👏 but talking about JL Audio they always got real good products and talking about hot day Carl we’re in Texas ( south) and today was about 40 hottttttt!!!

I'm jl fanboy hard, feel this playlist will be just looking for now I've just brought a golf r 2020 I really hope it's dealing with the Dynaudio system so I see how the upgrade is done. Either way I love golf's and jl I'm here for the whole lot.

Interested to see how this goes. Always been a fan of JL subs, had many over the years. For some reason never been overly taken with the full range speakers. I think the thing with JL is to those that have heard of them but aren't "into" car audio, they are a quality brand and the name and subtle styling impresses. But to those that are into car audio the brand can seem a bit common? Or not special enough? 🤷‍♂️ With this system I think it will be a fit and forget type of deal, as in it will just work and be reliable, which JL obviously is or they wouldn't have stayed current for so many years. 👍

Another great and informative video on what, why and how you do things at studio incar. JL are renowned for their subs and amps so to see these flagship speakers is strange as predominantly it's the other applications that you automatically think of. These C7s however are extremely expensive so need to sound like the muts nuts and bring something extra to the party. I have seen and heard these on a few other videos and they seem very bright and detailed so looking forward to seeing the finished product and a demo but ultimately your opinion on them. Thanks for sharing your time and views i really appreciate it and enjoy watching your videos.

@@Studioincar I would love to pop in and check out all of your awesome builds but you wouldn't get rid of me lol and being from up north (Leeds) your a bit far for just a pop in but you never know. One thing is for sure that if i am ever in a position to have a build done i will most certainly be calling you guys first. Back to the equipment your using would you be able to do a comparison once fitted and listened to compared to thesis or utopia as they are all about similar costs?
