In terms of rear seats you may lead the cables underneath very easily. Firstly remove front plastic cover that goes along front door. Secondly move the front seat backward to the maksimum. You will see in the floor under the seat rectangular whole where you can slide your hand in. This will help you to catch the cable that was previously guided under plastic cover along front door. No need to remove front seat , screws and so on.

I did exactly the same about guiding the cables to the rear seats on my Leon 5F, I didn't wanted to unscrew the front seats, as they are the most important parts in the car and the cable is really not visible, so not a big deal. Regarding the trunk, I have also installed additional lights ( nice one from Audi Q7) after cutting the bigger hole in the trunk side covers.

I wonder if I could fit the cable under the carpet without removing seat rail... Next time I'm vacuuming the car will try to do it with a dummy cable just to check it.

Ive bought a guide nylon cable to pass the wires under , ideally inside the sleeved cord . Going to try it next week

A dobrze by było 👍 jakby jakiś kanał był w PL i byś to też wrzucał 👍 wiem że to trochę nie bardzo dla Ciebie, bo to samo klepać 2 razy 😉 ale nie wszyscy znają EN tak jak wspomniałem, a jest dużo też osób co by posłuchali w PL, na pewno 😊 sam jestem z lat 70 i nas nie uczyli takich języków ☹️.

Cześć, Mateuszu Mam fabryczne podświetlenie z przodu, chcę dołożyć z tyłu. Zobaczyłem 3 części filmu i nie widzę w jaki sposób instalacja na tył jest wpięta do BCM - w pierwszym filmie pokazujesz tylko lampkę kierowcy wpiętą w pusty pin 72 - a co z pozostałymi 3 lampkami? Te 4 lampki są na wspólnym pinie?

Why are the front brighter then the back? does the aliexpress link come with 2 bright and 2 less bright ones?

If someone is struggling with the back ones, no need to undo any bolt's as the cable and connector will slide under the metal guide for the chair. Around the same place as shown in the video.

Witam. Mam pytanie odnosnie oswietlenia nog. Pacjent golf 7 2018. Mam zamontowane (chyba seryjnie) ale .. nie mam mozliwosci sterowania tym oswietleniem z ekranu tzn w pozycji "OSWIETLENIE" nie mam funkcji "oswietlenie przestrzeni nog" , lampki dzialaja ale wspolnie z ambiente, a chcialbym je wylaczyc calkowicie podczas jazdy a po otwarciu drzwi na 100%. I moja prosba do Ciebie o pomoc jak to uruchomic z pozycji OBDELEVEN bo tylko to mam . Nie posiadam VCDS ! Pozdro serdecznie

I have done the coding, but I have an error now on central electrics module “no led bar”. Where should I change the the wrongly set parameter?

Hi, how did you fit the rear lights in the places under seats. I am at this step and it seems like it needs to be slimmer with a milimiter or two. The whole process is so time consumineg, if I knew I would never have started it.

Hello, do you know if there is a signal 12v for the tailgate open somewhere? In the fuse box? I don't have (last Touran) the light in the trunk and i want install like you. Thanks

I'm not sure if there's a direct connection that you can use, but you can add a pin to BCM module and code it in so power appears there when trunk is open. To be honest I've never seen a car without trunk light.

you can put the wire under the carpet , there is a little square under the front sit. you just have to take a snake to guide the cable from the side part to the square 😉

Hi, I watched the 3 parts very closely, but one thing is not clear for me yet, how did you guide the cable for the passengers seat rear light. Did you go under armrest or ...?

@@boyanratchev877 wiring from BCM splits into two - drivers side (front+back) and passengers side (front+back). Both sides have wires guided from the front light, under the sill cover.

@@mrfixpl Hi, this is not what I bought from a German retailer of original parts - because I have front lights from the factory I needed only the rear ones. For rear the cable goes in pin 50 of plug B of BCM and then splits. This cable is independent from front lights cable.

Hi. My question is when you drive your car at night does your footweel lights open at %70 or closed ? I codded to Interior Light and mine is working only when I open the doors. Thanks for help.

With door closed and headlights on, footwell stays at value set from the infotainment screen.

You connect the cable as one piece, they are serial combined.

That's how it looks from the factory. No rear footwell lights, just one trunk light. What you can see here is custom made and/or retrofit with AliExpress parts.

Oh, the trunk. No, I had to make the holes myself. Will post a video about that soon. But basically made a template (21mm by 46mm), positioned it in car, 3mm drill in each corner, then dremel to cut the hole out, next smoothing the edges with file

All four lights are connected together to the BCM (positive) and chassis ground (negative).

Kiedyś zamówiłem kilka różnych modeli z AliExpress. Te mi najbardziej przypadły do gustu. Wpisz w ich wyszukiwarkę frazę "32954456725". Świecą do przodu, więc do oświetlenia dywaników w VAGu trzeba wysunąć diodę z oprawki i zgiąć o 90 stopni.
