Man I've been watching these mod videos and I see that in my country(South Africa) we get these cars with most of the mods already enabled. Other countries have to suffer, make it make sense

This depends on optional packages and regional trims. In EU we get a wide range of options, from poor to full spec.

Great video! Do you know if changes that are made with OBDElven interfere with a tuned car (stage 1)? My friend says no, due to it being a different (flash) module.

No interference. Tune is just in the engine control module (and in transmission if automatic) and only in part of the software (maps for boost, throttle etc.). Rest of the software stays as it was and settings can be changed the same way as in stock car.

The smaller U-LED is only working in Golf MK7 R. Rest of models does not have LEDs for the smaller U.

@@shaynebuchanan1 You would have to unseal the headlight, disassemble it, create and fit in LED panel with matching color, rewire headlights interior, reseal the whole thing, change coding for the additional load. It would be easier, faster and safer to just replace headlights with ones from R model...

Hi, can you explain how to manage the main U drl? I have a mk7 golf gti 2014 with bi xenon and led drl, when i am in position 0, the led dot is activated but not the main U led .. but when i switch position the led dot and the U led are activated like the normal way of working, just less intensity for the big U led. BCM coding gives so many option that you can even set it up to welcome you when you unlock the car.

Napewno nie będą pasowały wtyczki bo do Led a zwykłych żarówek są inne piny ale czy można to przerobić? Dziękuje :)

Nie ma rzeczy niemożliwych. Można przerobić. Kilka razy widziałem przedlifta z lampami poliftowymi.

I would have to disassemble the headlight and find LEDs with matching color. Doable but a lot of work so not sure if it's worth the time and energy.

Nie do końca. Opisy będą widoczne w takich językach jak zostały zaprogramowane w danym module danego samochodu. Jest to mieszanka EN i DE. W polifcie jest więcej po angielsku. W kodowaniu opisy są dostarczane przez program, więc tam powinno być lepiej niż w adaptacjach.

There's no LEDs behind the smaller U in TSI/TDI/GTD/GTI. Only Golf R will have them.

The Golf R headlights are different. For example: The turn light is realized by some LED-Spots. In THIS case here (bi-xenon lights for the other car configurations) it's one normal bulb.

No. Only Golf R headlights had actual LED modules there. Rest of the Golf trims will just have dummy U over there.

It’s not VCDS/OBDEleven difference. It’s your car vs mine. Adaptation channel names are provided by cars control module.

Golf R headlights only. The Golf and GTI do not have LEDs in the ‘inner U.’ You’d have to retrofit or buy the headlights and possibly code them to the car.

Got it. Same procedure from the comment above. BCM module controls all most lights in the car. There are 35 channels (light circuits) there and you need to perform the procedure for those two responsible for the DRL dot. Lightchannels 8 and 9.
