Harry, I highly recommend you replace the fitting at the end of the compressor leader line that connects to the air tank (its called a check valve). The stock Viair ones are notorious for getting stuck. SMC makes better ones that will last you much much longer and are serviceable. It was one of the first things I had to replace with my air ride on my MK6. Welcome to the air ride fam, you're going to love it. Cheers!

^^^ This man knows what he's talking about ^^^ I'm part of a few airlift groups and I'm admin for one. So many people post about the issues they've had with the stock Viair check valves. They can cause an array of issues. Blown fuses from overworking your compressors from being clogged or they will break your compressor among other things. The SMC check valves are the way to go and can be taken apart and cleaned easily simply with a Phillips screw driver. I ordered two of them for my dual comp setup before i even installed my system.

OP, if you run into issues with the front airlines routed outside. You can route them both into the oval inside the wheel well. Look at 9:38 to reference the oval I’m talking about. You can see it when you pull the front wheels off. I then routed my lines under the cowl where the wiper fluid goes. Then I routed the lines into the firewall on the driver side. A little piece of mind in my opinion.

I had to do the same with my rear struts. I'm not a fan of stock suspension at all so I was at peace with always having aftermarket suspension. For any reason if I decide to remove air suspension I'd go for coilovers. Honestly though after having air suspension i don't see my car with anything else. I love it.

Loving the air ride content big show car guy myself I’ve an Audi S1 on Kw V3 coilovers and I’m wanting to put air cups on top of them and slam it they work similar to a front end lift system on a super car but you can have them front and rear got me itching for it now noise when you air out is addicting 😍

In general it's never gonna handle as good as static suspension, air ride is for cruising, comfort, and hard parking pretty much it.

The ride is a little bouncy - especially at higher pressure but overall It's like riding on a cloud. When I drive city roads I drive on preset ride height - which is just below the original stock ride height. When I'm on the highway at higher speeds I drive on preset low ride height. It's less bouncy with less air in the bags. Also seems to maneuver better when lower . You can always adjust the damping.

Fair play Harry for cracking on and doing this yourself... car looks mint Have you had to get the alignment and geometry adjusted and setup properly? With all the adjustment in the shocks i think thats something definitely worth sorting if you havent already.

You are correct. Alignment is the first thing you want to do after completing install. It would be a good idea to purchase an unlimited lifetime alignment package at a participating shop. One time purchase no annual fee. I go in to get mine aligned 3 times a year - every 4 months and each time i go in the alignment is slightly off.
