Just purchased a kit and couldn't find any videos like this breaking down the tank and compressors. Thanks for this!

do you know the thread sizes I should be purchasing to mount the water trap directly to the compressor? (for the male to male)

I got the P1 management they said it's a complete kit but from watching your video I'm need more things I also have one compressors but my tank is different.
@Chrizleyva2 жыл бұрын
Yes there are different tanks available most companies give you the option of which one you want. You can still buy the harness and extra compressor if you want 2. It cost more of course

The top mount on your tank is it a 1/4 hole or 3/8 hole? Cus I can’t attach my compressors to the top holes cus it’s a 1/4 hole & compressor braided lines are 3/8 tips
@Chrizleyva Жыл бұрын
Unless yours are different compressors or you have a different tank they should fit on the tops holes thats were mine is mounted
@twiggy2895 Жыл бұрын
Does it matter what size teflon tape I use for my 1/4” lines?
@Chrizleyva Жыл бұрын
Aslong as it doesn't cover up the hole at the end you should be good

Is it okay only have a water trap with dual compressor?
@Chrizleyva2 жыл бұрын
Yes you only need 1 water trap cuz the manifold only pulls it from the tank line not from the compressors

Hey I have that same tank but my port threads are red, any idea why that is?
@Chrizleyva Жыл бұрын
I would have to see a pic I know mine had caps that were red I just had to take then out
@iJayBT8 ай бұрын
The red are liquid thread sealants, I would still apply a bit of Teflon tape to be safe.
@SacredHeart05205 ай бұрын
It’s thread sealant . Just liquid . Teflon tape is designed to serve as a lubricant not as a seal . That’s why it’s made of teflon . So instead of using teflon tape you should use a thread sealant / brushed on if you want to do out correctly .
@SacredHeart05205 ай бұрын
Most people use it as a sealant And don’t know that it’s designed as a lubricant . They do make sealant tape that’s what you should use instead really . And if you don’t believe me just google it

You wrapped the teflon in the wrong direction. Only the ones at 6:30. You want to wrap it in the direction it will tighten, which seems you realized as the teflon was coming undone as you were tightening the fittings together.

Yeah sometimes I make that mistake and have to redo it 😆
