VW manual shifter rebuild with DieselGeek kit

I decided to attempt a rebuild which would cost me 1/3 the price of a new shifter. THIS IS NOT A HOW TO! But it shows some of the trouble and difficulty I ran into during the process. When all is said and done I'm glad I did it. I feel like I got an amazing shifter for 1/3 the price of buying a new one! NOTE: After using the shifter for a few weeks, I found that I had to put some threadlocker on the passenger side bolt because it kept loosening. That part not shown in film but strongly recommended.
