Hi there, Im coming back to yours video as you are a man of knowledge. I've the exact same headlights, buf after replacing d1s bulb to newer one, the adjustments from left to right has changed, now I cannot adjust the horizontal position (left to right), yiu said it can be only vertically adjusted, what should I do? Thanks

My friend please help me out ! My 2010 passat has a "activation for right headlamb beam adjustment motor - open circuit/short circuit to B+" error. My cornering lights when i move to the right or the left, are working. The only thing that is not working is when i start the headlamps, they do not adjust verticaly. The left headlamp isz the right one doesn't. What should i need to check to fix this issue please ?

very good ... great job. thank you. Can you give me more informations about the vertical range adjustment headlight motor? Does the motor works for horizont range adjustment too? Can you change it wehn the motor dosen't work in complet correct way (the left one turn not completely to the left by strat engine)? If Yes dou you have a type number of the motor? Do you have a number of the swivel module sensor? Thanks in advance.

Hello. I have a problem with my 2010 passat none of the headlights work low or high both sides. On my scan tool it says low beam bulb but i took the bulbs out and tested them and they work. On both sides high and low don't work

Alright so I just had the right side headlight go out, but I before this my afs inoperative light is always on, and my high beams when you turn them on they stay on for two seconds and then they shut themselves off. Do I need to replace both headlights altogether?

Headlight is the same as well! Later model!! With ballast on side. Now need the whole headlight because of a deer! Need to know were to buy another one just like it . The right side headlight!

Hello, i have problem with high beam, after changed the bixenon projector with a new one, all is ok, wires are ok but the high beam not working. The headlight is made in 2009. The new projector have low/high beam engine. All is new. Sorry for my bad english. I hope you understand.

is your projector original one from a donor headlight? Or aftermarket one?

Hi, i have a Passat B6 2007 and high beam don't work on left headlight and don't say AFS inoperarive. They're works ok. In dash i have light sign for bulb burn. What do you think ?

Check your D1S xenon bulb and the auxiliary H7 bulb. This headlight is bi-xenon hence low and high beams are at same D1S xenon bulb. Please subscribe to our channel.

@@xenonland H7 works. Every bulb works. Just highbeam on left didnt work. This code error i have 02498 - Left Low Beam Reflector Motor (V294)

that's a bad news. It means that your shutter motor inside the headlight is not working. This motor basically lifts and pulls down the metal shutter/curtain and so making your low or high beam (you can call it bi-xenon mechanism).

Yes definitely better to go for another headlight. Otherwise repair is theoretically possible, but practically very difficult, not to say impossible (VW do not sell this part).
