The exhaust needs to be fitted longways as there is a small hole in the bottom of the silencer to let condensation out. Great video 😉👌

unfortunately drilling the hole in the bottom of the tank for the fuel nozzel will come back to bite you eventually by leaking as the o-rings are not made of bitron and are not diesel proof, I used the fuel tank fitting supplied with the kit and drilled the top of the tank and installed the tank pickup on the top, no chance of leaks in the future, a layer of fuel proof epoxy between the seal and the tank and then taped over with alluminium tape keeps it all waterproofed and protected. wraping the exhaust also pretects it from corrosion under the van and it will protect you to should you need to get under there when its running.

So you drill a hole for the exhaust and leave a hole in the underside of the flooring? How do you seal it to stop water ingress!
@TheCampervanBuilder Жыл бұрын
the heater has a metal plate that secures to the floor which creates a seal between the heater and the floor and closes off the hole
