VW T4 sliding door won't unlock/open - Central locking connector

I got the same velle as you. What curtains have you got? They seems to fit well.

The curtains are from Germany a company called Baimex. Perfect fit for caravelle, all these other uk companies don’t fit properly on our vans

When you put the door contacts back in make sure its in the correct way around. They all corrode & fail & are expensive to replace

Yeah mine only go in properly one way, but I did check the b pillar to make sure it was correct. I think the sliding door actuator is next to be replaced, I done the front doors and now this one needs replacing

Its like the central locking motor isnt pushing it up high enough to sit in unlock position, maybe the motor could be adjusted to push it a bit harder as they are rubber mounted.

The central locking actuator isn’t working, all this was fixed woth the use of brush pile draft excluder 😂
