How did you remove fit roll bar as tryed to take old ones out stuck ?

Did they come with a helper spring or did you remove it as to go extra low?

My mechanic can't get the drivers side drop link too fit into strut upper tab, he thinks they are both left sided shocks but they are interchangable? The lower tab is lined up correctly but the drivers side upper tab is located at the 2 o'clock position the same as passengers side, the drivers side looks like it needs too be at ten o'clock for the drop link too fit but is impossible if the lower tab is matched correctly into hub? This is a head scratcher, my car is bmw m135i f21 any advice would be appreciated

Sorry, bud - only just seen this comment. I’m not familiar with the 140i but normally, there is a tab at one side for the drop link so suspect the mechanic is right, you have two left shocks. G

What’s the ride like?

I found it great! So many mixed reviews on Stance+ but it must be all to do with the setup and what’s around it. I had renewed every bush, swapped out the ARB’s, uprated the drop links, got the wheels aligned, etc. all at the same time and I couldn’t fault the ride. We live on a road with speed bumps and spend most of our time in the Yorkshire Dales and I never thought once ‘I wish I had better suspension’

can you feed the sway bar through or did you have to remove more items first

I had to remove a few more pieces from memory - just one side though and thread it through from there.

How did find the ride quality with these? Personally they are the worse riding kit I've ever fit! The more common "Stance +" were ok. This kit promised so much more -preload definitely a good idea, and variable length shock absorbers should maintain ride quality at any height. Ride is horrendous! and that's not me being an old man about it. I played around with the preload and found this does really make a difference between really terrible and just terrible. The only positive I can give them is they go LOW, REALLY LOW at the front anyway. Can't wait to get them off.

Hey bud - I found the ride great on them. They are the Proline versions though and I know a friend has the standard ones and complains about the ride. The Mrs used to complain about the bouncey ride on our old suspension but never said anything about the Stance+ Coilovers. It also had H&R ARB’s, uprated/shorter drop links, uprated bushes, etc. all at the same time.
