VW Tcross Emergency/Pedestrian warning system - Does it work?

Lets give this another crack ?
VW cannot be that bad ? we have tried twice before (and with a different Tcross) the Volkswagen never reacts - our Fiat and Mini came with emergency stuff standard, we paid about 800 for the extra emergency features, that don't appear to work, the dealer tests with a PC but refused to drive our car at a wall :) - they suggested I was mad, I suggested they had no confidence in their product !!
At Drivenmad, we repair, maintain and upgrade vehicles in our workshop, here in the sunny Algarve, Portugal.
Most things are our first go ! so remember, experts we are not ! so watch us do it wrong, so you don't have too :)
Having hundreds of kilometres of dirt roads, dirt tracks and various hills with ruts on our doorstep, we venture out and test our 4x4’s to the limit (our limit, not theirs  )
When we can get one, we will slip in a vehicle review, along with some product testing - who does not want to know which tyre stops the best ?

Interesting. I’m guessing the VW system is only for cars not pedestrian. But bit crap considering the price of them cars… good vid boys
