See TFLOFFROAD on YT for a few US Touareg comparos against other rigs. The Touareg has some good hardware, but the software aspect of its operation lets it down compared to mechanically-controlled operation found in 80 series Land Cruiser and M-B G-Wagon. Touareg is 3rd best, at best.

this car is great. nice looking and luxurious interior but serious off road capability when needed. only other car that can do this is the range rover but that costs about double this. Too bad I won't be able to get a car like this for several years from now.
