I feel like wandee is playing up the "hard to get" for a few reasons; they started with sex, so they never officially did any "wooing" stages; they both started it with feelings for someone else; and Dee spent 8 years trying to be something to Ter and never got a chance to experience being pursued. I think there are layers to his insistence they do the flirting stage and I don't think any of them really lie with doubt about Yak's sincerity. Ultimately, I feel like he's solidifying the reality of it as well as enjoying finally being the one valued and pursued.

Well this is not a Western show, so we can't really look at it and judge with our Westernized glasses. The problem is, that legally there's a "good" reason why they minimized Wandee getting assaulted, and not Taem... In Thai law there is no actual SA or r-a-p-e of men, only women. The law litterally specifies that it can only happen to women (the current law is actually rooted in the issue of women getting pregnant as a result, and not so much in the violation that the assult itself brings). Which is why we've never see any legal ramification or consequenses in other BL's dealing with this matter - at best we only see the characters dealing with it among themselfs. Because that is all they can do. So while they could call the police on Ohm for assaulting Taem, they couldn't call them for Ter assaulting Wandee. I do wish they would have actually taken the opportunity to high light the inequality on this matter. They've been so good with the PSA's and waving the flag on vaccines for HPV virus, oral hygiene, mental health, and the passing of the equal marriage law... So this would have been the perfect chance to actually tackle a human rights issue hands on, and speak up about this injustice! Maybe one day we'll get there. It also took a long time for BL's to openly talk about gay rights and marriage equality, but eventually they did. And now Thailand has passed the law!

Wandee is a BIG flirt. He loves YorYak, but he has to deal with the fact that he can't cross the street without remembering how his parents died in a car accident. In that moment, Wandee lost two people he loved the most, and that is why he is not fully commited to YorYak, still. Dr. Ter needs to be reported for forcing himself on Wandee. I predict Ter will leave the hospital, and that is when a new doctor will arrive and instantly fall for Khao and his sex toys. Oooooo, baby.

As you can see, Sazaki's girlfriend is Transgender woman that the director put in the series but not mentioned at all. So I think about Plakao being Asexual. They don't focus too. Just put in the series to make the LGBTQIA+ community in the series. 😅

I don't know if it's a genuine cultural thing in Thailand, or if it's just a trope in BL's, but there is this required step of pursuing & winning over someone that seems to be a formal behavior, even between people who have had a bunch of sex but who now are considering being boyfriends. To my U.S. brain, that seems counter-productive. We just start dating & don't force a bunch of "pursuing" steps. How come Wandee doesn't have to pursue? He doesn't know by now? Sorry, I just don't get this stuff. Must be cultural.
