Your videos are absolutely beautiful. You get the sense of being in the buggy and almost on the edge of the road. It is simply amazing the skill you have in finding these gorgeous places and capturing them on your camera. I’m just awe struck at this one. There are not words for how well-done this video is. SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting close to the Gold King Mansion. Large abandoned building/hotel in the Hualapai Mountains. it has an interesting history your viewers would love to see. We are headed to it May 28th from Kingman. Welcome to come along. The ruins of the Survival Camp is another fun point with interesting history in the Hualapai Mt.

Big Wave Russ from your neighbors: Well Russ thank you for taking us on the back of your dusty nugget Kawaski up to Wabayuma Peak, and it truly was up between the mountain goats and angels. Next time take your spray sticky glue along for those rocking rolling rocks to keep them safe mountain side. I had visions of us all being knocked down off the narrow path to a flight for thousands of feet down. One must have their angel wings in top repair to view such a ride of heights. My brain being attacked to my zings of terror shocks, in my comfortable lazy boy chair became my only imagined safety keeping me from falling off of every turn of switch back road, into a pit of pain. I hung on Russ with my husband until you came to a halt and launched your drone to show us the forever grandness of a land that will forever be etched in our memory. There is not a place in the world comparable for beauty. Forever grateful for the ride you were good enough to share. Thank you Russ....Carolyn and Colin Hogarth Osoyoos B.C. Canada. Big wave Russ...

Hi Russ, when you do the buggy rides like this, try doing the follow me mode and the orbit mode on the drone. especially when going through the switchbacks like in this video. It add another dimension you wouldn't believe. You would want to practice some with it though so you are comfortable with it. It goes goes by line of sight on the camera, the drone doesn't care but you have to get use to not worrying about it flying off. Just make sure it will adjust the return to home . Good video, it's something to look over the edges of the roads. Pretty sencery too!

Hi Russ when your ready to use your metal detector a good tip is to have two tiny .1 gram sized pieces of gold super glued to little plastic discs. Then when you have done your best to get your machine tuned into your location, bury one just under the surface and the other about two inches deep. If you have tuned in right you should be picking them up and you will have confidence that if there is anything there that your chances of finding it are pretty good. Good hunting.

Hello Russ, I live in North Yorkshire, UK, but I watch all your videos, and we are now watching your earlier ones, and I think they are fantastic, you do show some beautiful scenery, especially from the drone, but I was biting my lips today watching this video, because I thought, what if you had an accident up there in that mountain, on an unmade road, and you couldn't get a signal on your mobile phone, but I was glad to see you got back down safely. Thank you very much for putting these videos on youtube.

I was just watching a few of your videos that I missed in the last couple weeks, and just had to comment - they are all greatly enjoyed!

Working those switchbacks, Russ, makes me think about the run from the ghost town of Atchee on up to Baxter Pass over the old Uintah Railway right-of-way in Colorado. Really neat and scenic ride, both here and there. A check of Google Earth reveals that they DO run cattle up in them thar hills! Would hate to have to track them dogies down at roundup time. Glad you and the Dusty Nugget didn't get stampeded.

Man o man. I watching that edge and thinking what if someone is on the way down. I knew you made it because of the video. Really something. I hiked part of the Appalachian trail years ago and remember coming over a peak and seeing the next. Took me a few days to realize how vast the distance was. What I thought might be 5 miles was more like 15. I want one of those buggies for sure.

The pond is down at the mine operations and it appears to be just a mud puddle today. Back 35 years ago the pond was in the large water tank that is empty today due to rust out. That was the local yucca kids skinny-dipping water hole . Lol. Just above the boriana are pinion pine nut trees. Beond you will find big pine about 5 miles past the mine.

Sitting here on the loveseat watching a 120" Hi-Definition projection of the video and hearing the 4-wheeler grunt on a commercial sound system (powered 12" 2-ways and powered 18" subs (no wife, since you were wondering). Just because your old (67) don't mean you can't understand modern hi-tech. Actually it's all pull-outs from a new church install I did a couple years ago... removal of all the old equipment is part of the job :) Oh and it's realistic enough I'm leaning away from the edge of the cliff even though I ain't there!!! But I can tell you that... even with COPD and asthma (smoked too much of that funny stuff back in the 70's), and sciatica from my big toe to my back on the right side, a bad right hip, and two bad knees (too much physical labor and too many falls)... I would have hiked the entire road plus the 5 miles. Ah... maybe not. But I will be driving this road in the old CJ-7 (built 327 with a five speed)... breathing with my portable Oxygen unit... when I pull out of the retirement home in Florida this fall in my 34 foot Southwind motorhome pulling the Jeep.
