I remember my first impression of Northern Arizona was the diversity of the landscapes and how fast it would change. For people that have never been to the area it's hard to imagine just how small of an area these videos have covered. Remember the hills covered with cactus on the way to the mine? 10 miles to Hualapai mountain as the crow flies. Davis dam on the Colorado river? 40 miles. It is truly a wonderous area of the country and I thank you for bringing to us.

As a young man of 21 years old right out of the Navy 50 years ago I worked as a laborer for 2 carpenters that in 1966 were building summer cabins around that area. I had board and room at the resort main motel and later up on the hill in trade for taking care of horses daily and guiding trail rides on the weekends. I visited there in 2019. Understandably lots of changes. Horses and stable gone, motel still there etc.

Wow! The puffy white clouds pasted across the blue of the sky is breath-taking. The sharp edges of the road that have been hewn out of the rock is so distinct. What wonderful glimpses of the old buildings and how one gets such a sense of the time past. The mountains and greenery are just so stunning. As we remain shut in, We thank you for taking us out with your gorgeous videos and detailed descriptions. Thank you so much! Just MARVELOUS! And another AWH!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!!! Job!!!!!!!!

It’s best if you take either of the Andy Devine or Beale Exits. The exit you took takes you past our sewers and jail. And that road is awful. As far as RV Parks KOA on Roosevelt or Settlin inn out in Golden Valley right before you go down the hill to Bullhead City. The other RV parks aren’t kept very well.
