Tengo la columna Wabeco, la mesa de coordenadas y un motor de fresado Bosch. De momento he empezado a fresar piezas pequeñas de aluminio y el resultado ha sido positivo. Viendo tu vídeo voy a intentar atreverme con el bronce y latón. Saludos.

Hi Michel very interesting video. I've just bought the BF1240 and I would like to improve the precision. About the metal bar to fill in the column's groove, I wonder why you've made on it two threaded M8 holes which I guess are not corresponding to the two clamping screws in the box. By the way, can you tell me the right measurements of the metal bar? Vielen dank.

Hello Claudio, I made the second M8 hole because I didnt want to damage the teeth of the column. Sometimes you have to turn the column to other positions to solve different tasks. Then the normal screw would hit the theeth. But its not really necessary, because the low part of the theeth will never be used. Only if you would put the column upside down.

Hattest du keine Probleme mit dem Rundlauf der Bohrmaschine nach all dem Fräsen?

Ich konnte noch keinen signifikanten Unterschied feststellen. Ich denke das erfordert einen Langzeittest. Finde die Frage auch sehr interessant. Werde über längere Zeit den Rundlauf prüfen müssen.

Ce n'est pas la machine du siècle mais en tant que bricoleur qui a très peu de place 6m carré environ, j'en suis content,perceuse à colonne,fraiseuse,tour, après c'est vrai que c'est un peu chère pour ce que c'est ,surtout les frais de port ou plutôt l'idée est bonne mais manque de précision, après chaque un voit selon ses besoins et surtout son budget

I didnt found a similiar drill stand yet. I made a new video about the importancy of a good drilling machine. It's interesting in relation to the Wabeco BF 1240.

Já jsem se stojanem spokojený. Nemůžu od něj čekat přesnost cnc. Je to pořád jen stojan a ne frézka, nebo sloupová profi vrtačka.

I had to ask for a year that WABECO return my parts I sent them for replacement, they returned them when I said I will take legal action, however some replacement parts are no better then the faulty ones, others were fixed. They even sold me new part with faulty thread, that I returned, but they never refunded the money, about 80eur. Now I have faulty lathe for 5+ years that I can't even use. I ordering parts from china, re making faulty parts in factory in china. Stay away from WABECO if you don't want to loose money and time.

I think more people speak English instead of German, so I think it's smart of the maker and this way he reaches a bigger audience
