This is one of the most special songs to me. It speaks to me in such a primal way. From this point on, there's only one direction: Down.

Bands like The Ocean or Gojira aren't just music, there is much more, an extra sensorial experience that can't be described, unbelievable!!!

But have you ever listened to opeth

@@CoolWhipp-hy1qu Probably yes... Opeth are a great influence for both bands.

I have playlist exclusively for metal that go beyond the music and go for a sensorial experience; there's some Opeth, The Ocean, Gojira, Matodon, Black Crown Initiate, Khemmis, Cult of Luna, Meshuggah, Revocation, Tool, etc... That's some otherworldy combination my man
@Tapwater567663 ай бұрын
@@octavioandrestejeirocarril6133that is an otherworldly combination, that playlist probably holds too much power honestly

@@forevermarked5826 Enjoy the ride!!! Start at Heliocentric/Anthropocentric, then Pelagial, Then Phanerozoic I, Phanerozoic II. Those 4 are the same vocalist. The deeper end of their discography is a bit raw, but still super heavy and good.
@vesuvius1153 жыл бұрын
@@buckfuttler2877 I say listen to Precambrian first, then Phanerozoic I and II as that is the proper order of those three albums.
@buckfuttler28773 жыл бұрын
@@vesuvius115 I'm just talking musically, not concept wise. And IMHO precambrian isn't close to Anth/Helio, Pelagiel, or P1/P2.

Screaming doesn't belong in prog-rock. These guys gotta decide what kind of rock/metal they wanna play IMO.
@giangys25 жыл бұрын
I think that everyone that knows them and their discography is very aware that they are a metal band, despite this song is a bit more light and prog rock influenced. So screaming fits perfectly in their style. if you don't like it in this particular song then it's another story

What do you think the prog part of prog-rock means? Saying what does and doesn't belong in a prog song is oxymoronic
