Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 Unboxing + First Impressions Pt 1

I'm so impressed with this display tablet!! Let's just call it love at first pen stroke. So digging it over pencil and paper right now!
Stay tuned for part 2 if you want to see a more detailed review of my drawing experience. I'm going to do a detailed portrait as a test. Hope it performs just as well!!

The main reason that I would pay 1.5k is the 4k res. If I had to settle for HD because of a cable incongruence to my pc, it would be immediately returned.

Great review thank you. With the new Cintiq Pro 16 I bought I am noticing lag when I scroll up and down a image and jitter. Anybody have tips? I did not have issues like this with my XP-Pen Artist 22E Pro .

Excuse me for the stupid question... Is possible to connect the Cintiq pro 16 to the compure pluging it on a normal USB port? I mean, my pc does not have any video ports, just USB ports... I would be able to make the Cintiq run?

Hmmm at triple the price of the Huion (Pro) it offers questionable value for the majority... no doubting Wacoms quality but they simply are not 3 times better than the other tablets... despite their claims.

Your statement concerning only one cable for connecting to your computer is false. Like you, I have an older laptop so I must use a HDMI cable. But that is only for the display. What you are NOT telling people is that they will also need a USB cable to enable interfacing the Wacom to their computer. And also, there is no battery, so it must remain plugged into the AC power adapter at all times to be able to use it. So, I fail to understand how you can "curl up on the couch" and draw and sketch with this tablet with only one cable.

Hey Randy. You're right. It also requires USB. I guess I should have listed out all the cables in my voiceover. My mistake - I thought showing the part where I plug them in was clear enough. What I meant about the "one cable" thing was that from the hub, there's only one cable that needs to be connected to the tablet and it's a pretty long one. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks! I really wish there was some way to make these workable with Bluetooth so there would be no need for a USB cable. Given there is no battery, it isn't as though connecting via Bluetooth would drain energy from the tablet. I purchased the Cintiq 16" because I read it has Bluetooth, but discovered after I received it that Bluetooth is only for an optional wireless keyboard. I sent back the Cintiq and am considering an XP-Pen but I was told last night Wacom will be producing a budget-friendly version of the Cintiq in the near future. p.s. Thanks for all of the fab videos!

@@randorific333 With all due respect bluetooth or even wifi cannot give you the data bandwidth required for 4Kdata+touch data. and don't forget that the device will stil need a power cable.

@@quicksilverstrom Yes, I'm aware of this issue now (I learned this after receiving the Cintiq - I'm new at this which is why I rely on professional reviews), but I still *wish* it was possible. Concerning the power supply, yes, I know it still needs a power supply but one less connecting cable would be great. Maybe someday.

Horrible machine, I return it is useless, eraser turn in pencil LOL photoshop pallets don't open or drop-down? Really not worth it. Ipad pro is much better.
