Waggler Fishing for Skimmers using Soft Pellets

Hi Keith really enjoyed the video really getting into skimmer fishing on the pole but wanted to know more about skimmer fishing on the waggler and this video ticked all the questions I needed to know so the pole will be rested Tomorrow and out on the waggler I’ll go and thanks very much for taking the time to share your knowledge so that people like me can really enjoy our fishing 👍

That's great to hear . It's a really enjoyable way to catch skimmers , one of my favourite winter methods . Often a feeder in clear cold water is hard going but casting over a nice wide area of bait can pick them off without spooking them too much . I hope you get some joy . All the best .

Steve Cole , next time you're on a few skimmers give them a go Steve , I feed them just like I would casters and rate them a better bream bait . You have every chance of catching on the keadby canal as well as commercial fisheries . Hope to see you on the bank soon .

cns180784 these were 6 mm expanders pal , I find them best for grouping and holding a good stamp of skimmer . Just feed them as you would casters , hope you enjoy the summer .

Cheers the summer has been decent so far. I'd like to be able to feed pellets but at my favourite fishery where theres' a good head of Skimmers and Carp they dont allow you, but they allow groundbait and that seemed to hold them in my swim well. Mostly fished with 4mm fishmeal soft hookers on the hook and caught mostly Carp (this was the other day) groundbait was Sonubaits F1 Sweet Fishmeal.
