Goerke’s wobble is getting worse and its size now resembles a black hole. I take no pleasure in saying that but it is true .

Oh no! What happened with Schager? That is the result of always singing to loud and over the top! I’m afraid of saying this, but he seems to be the next Lance Ryan who as well destroyed his voice. I am not sure how long he will be still singing in the big houses- just sad!

@@draganvidic2039 Angela Gheorghiu sang Carmen, but she isn't mezzo. Anna Netrebko sang Turandot, but she isn't a dramatic soprano. Placido Domingo sang Rigoletto, but he isn't a baritone. People sing rep they aren't built for all the time. It's one of the reasons the modern era has no Kirsten Flagstads, Set Svanholms, Apollo Granfortes or Elena Nicolais.

Her voice is absolutely awful. Big fast but inverted vibrato... Sounds ”upside down” and therefore even more flat than she is. Too little sheen and squillo, mostly an unclear mass coming out...

Definitely. And Meade has sung this way since the beginning as well. Anyone casting her is just doing so because she's a "name." How she got a name being totally out of tune and splattered on top is beyond me.

all correct. She is constantly under the pitch, especially the top. There is very little head voice in that singing and the quivering tongue is very disturbing.

I genuinely don’t understand these comments about Christine. Where in this video do you hear a wobble?? The voice is nothing short of energized with a consistent spin. She sounds incredible here, in her 50s I might add!

The problem is that she has very little spin in her voice but produces with effort as you can see by her fluttering tongue. That is a very bad sign. There have been many great singers in their 50's
