I cant imagine how cold it is now. A friend in Arkansas says its 20s 30s already. But, you do have the best in wool clothing ! It was SO cute to hear the little kids getting so excited about seeing the sheep, and how cool for them to get to see them. I know you need to sell them, but I think we all love seeing the lambs, cuteness of the 1st order.

Question about how to stay worm and parasite free with this lifestyle. What wild edibles do you eat to cleanse that from your system if you think it could be an issue?
@123Homefree2 жыл бұрын
I just manually juiced 3 heads of garlic yesterday and it knocked my load down again, i practice intermittent fasting and break the fast each morning with antiparasitic bitter tea wait an hour then drink my kiefer to reestablish a more beneficial microbiota.

I know you don't usually sign up for benefits, but SNAP benefits cover all kinds of seeds and food trees that you could spread around your area to supplement wild foraging. Just a thought...
@123Homefree2 жыл бұрын
I dont use the government assistance/domesticated dependence foodstamp card they reload with $200 for food a month or their “cash benefits” card they refill with up $700 a month that can be spent on anything, like literally every homeless person now takes advantage of at least one of those nowadays that none of the “houseys” even know about because the mainstream news is owned by the elite trying to keep hushhush their long-haul goal of luring everyone into firther domestication and dependence. If there is one message im trying to make clear it is that guerrilla-gardening is one of the most over rated ways to try and dietarily free ourselves from our slavery because gardening itself is the least efficient way of producing calories compared to livestock raising calories and then trying to expend that in a way thats literally gambling with terrible odds against deer, vermin, insect pests, mowers, property developement, etc gardens need to be on provate property with adequate protection to make them really worth their food production efforts. Guerrilla-grazing dairy or meat animals is the most efficient way for humans to produce their own food. Wild edibles dont have the calorie content needed to even think about adequately surviving on all the foragers giving you that impression are weekend warriors misleading the future public starving on leaves and process/time intensive less than palatable roots they take a bite of for their videos before dumping the rest of it on the ground 😂

Hey man, do you get year round forage for everyone? No need to feed any hay? Great videos btw.
@123Homefree2 жыл бұрын
I guerrilla-graze them around to different properties and vacant lots daily year round so they only get around 1 single bale of hay per winter that i give them when the ground is most covered in snow but this winter ill have to technically give them 2 cause the farm i gifted lambs to last month gifted us a bale and my sheep unbound it before i could put it somewhere they couldnt get to it and they wasted most of it trampling so i will need to buy their 1 winter bale now and hide it from them 😂
@Michaeloftheland2 жыл бұрын
@@123Homefree right on that’s awesome. Love your videos. I have dorpers here on the mimbres river in NM and we have to feed hay more than I’d like. Sometimes we can get some winter forage walking up the river but there’s not much greenery here right now until the mustards start popping in a couple months. My wife works at the local coop and we get all the stores organic compost so our sheepies get lots of salad greens and random root veggies from that everyday. But unfortunately hay costs are a thing this time of year here. Keep up the great work. Learn a lot from your videos.

Hey buddy, good video. I was wondering if u ever tried working on a system thst allows the sheep to pull together? Like a Santa's sliegh kinda deal.. I could be wrong but it seems as though u have one sheep pulling the cart while the other sheep are just leashed to the cart which isn't distributing the weight amongst all of them. I just feel like u might get more out of the sheep in terms of range of travel or at least getting from point a to b faster without running u main sheep puller to ragged.

Yes i tried this tandem 2 sheep pullijg onenin front of the other last year but it didnt work because i still dont have any brakes on this wagon(costs $300-400) i still have the second yoke that attaches to the main yoke so maybe will try once i finally get brakes some day?
@MarksREmarks Жыл бұрын
21:10 Aaron, have you considered wearing a hi-viz vest🦺 for better visibility in poor light and maybe some reflective items for the back of your wagon, after all getting rear ended would be very bad for you and the sheep🐑🐑🐑🐑regards from england.
@123Homefree Жыл бұрын
I have a neon reflective “slow vehicle” triangle symbol on the back of my wagon and if its getting late at night i shine my bright flashlight on the road with the swinging of my arm from walking its most noticable but i would wear a hiviz yellow vest sometimes during the day on busy narrow edged roads if i had one. Thanks for the suggestion i will see if i can add one to the wishlist in my video descriptions. ;)
