Sweet video. I'm definitely going to hike that ridge in march! I bet it's so much better in person!

Loved this trail! We were just there a few months ago and got completely rained and fogged out most of the way, but it was still such an insane trail, we embraced those clouds and enjoyed it anyway :)

Agree - the clouds from the summit didn’t detract at all from the hike, was super nice to cool off actually 👍🏽

That's wild that you're in Hawaii from Colorado right now. I am as well, although I'm here for work. Managed to sneak in some short hikes on Kauai the other week, going to try to do something in Volcanos National Park on the big island this week, then finally back to Denver.

Someday I'll make it to Hawaii! Such a beautiful place

Is it a one way hike? Or so you go up and down the same way?
@TheVirtualsherpa2 жыл бұрын
Correct - one way, you return the same way you came. Read all about it here www.thevirtualsherpa.com/waihee-ridge-trail-maui-hike-guide/

Hey man, was this a hard hike? I was thinking of maybe taking my parents with me
@TheVirtualsherpa3 жыл бұрын
Think it should be doable for most people, just take your time - lots to see along the way

@@TheVirtualsherpa got it. Do you think we will see great sights just hiking 30 minutes into it? How long did it take you?
@LiveLife-MJ3 жыл бұрын
Did it yesterday morning. Took us 3hrs stopping for short breaks and pictures. I had a 14yr old that does zero exercise and she completed it. Some slippery spots. Take shoes with gopd grip. Take a PnJ sandwich, they have picnic table at the end of trail. We took 2 small bottles of water each and was enough.

Appreciate the correction and as much as I try to pronounce things correctly - I seem to have a knack for butchering the English (and every other) language throughout my videos.
