I have generally oily skin, but dry skin and eczema on my upper lip. The glossier stretch concealer is the best concealer ever for toning down redness in that area without enhancing flakiness

Have you been patch tested for allergies? I have eczema in many places, but my upper lip is my litmus test. Whenever I eat something or wear something on my face that I’m allergic to, I see the reaction on my upper lip.

I have dry skin and I often use the glossier stretch concealer as a foundation. It’s my go to travel base product because it’s so compact and I trust that it will work really well with my other products.

Your reviews are so helpful. I like how you show your application. Some things that don’t work for you may work well for me (I’m 50 and like a lighter coverage). For instance I’d apply less of the foundation so it might work perfectly for what I’m looking for. The concealer may be exactly what I’m looking for. Love your content.

YES! Now _that_ is a milk-chocolate brown mascara 😃 Warm or red toned, brown mascaras look SO GOOD on people with green eyes. If you have green, hazel, or blue-green eyes, and you haven't tried brown (or yes, even burgundy! 😲) mascara, you might want to try it to make your eyes really pop. I'm all over that Beaubble brown mascara. Thanks, Kelly!

The just for redheads mascara in “ginger cocoa” is the lightest brown I’ve ever found in a mascara. I love it. I’m blonde and for everyday I don’t wear a ton of makeup so black mascara can look like a lot. This mascara is very minimal, the effect isn’t a ton of length or volume, but it darkens my eyelashes enough where you can see them without it looking too much like mascara. I love it.

Kelly dont get the original Balm from Danessa, I love it but I’m super oily so it’ll be even drier than this serum for dry skin. The balm has an ingredient that controls oil I believe, so it’s matte. Maybe the new repair balm serum would be a good primer to pair with this one. Because for me this serum was too hydrating.

So happy to see Salt getting more attention, I bought a palette with sneaky balm, concealer, highlighter and blush and it has become my go-to complexion solution! I am very fair with slight rosacea and the lightest shade of all actually matches me, where so far no other foundation has actually been both the right color and formula for me. I also ordered and returned the Rare Beauty glowy blush and shadow stick, where I usually love their products those 2 weren’t for me for all the reasons you said. My Laura Mercier Caviar stick in Moonlight is my favorite one-and-done stick shadow, perfect color for my pale skin, blends well and then sets down with minimal creasing even without primer on hooded eyes. Keep up the great work Kelly, always look forward to your videos!

I absolutely LOVE the Rare Beauty baked blush ❤ I have mine in Happy and I use it as a topper for Bliss or on its own. I don't find it to be as shimmery/glowy and I have oily skin. I haven't purchased makeup in so long and when I saw this release and tested it in Sephora, I fell in love with it! Same for Bliss (liquid one).

I really appreciate the honest feedback on these products because a lot are viral and you just never know of it being viral is truly worth the hype. I was really considering getting the yummy skin (based on Morgan’s recommendation as yours was) and I am now on the fence after watching this. I have really dry skin and I usually wear Estée Lauder double wear foundation and it works well but doesn’t always cover my redness. I want something else to try but I really don’t know what

I completely agree about only concealer feeling weird, my solution has been the nyx bare with me concealer, it is light enough coverage that i don’t feel like i look crazy, doesn’t crease, and has a natural radiance

I love the Danessa Myreks balm but in the summer for oily skin. I wouldnt recommend it for dry skin. But it really helps control my oil like nothing else.

If you blend out a good concealer you don't need anything else although a light eye pencil and a touch of lipstick do add a bit of glam. I like Lancome and Clinique concealers best, but Sisley is also good.

For times when you don't want undereye concealer, I have to recommend my favorite eye cream! Ole Henriksen (Truth) Banana Bright+ Eye Cream (w/ gold-complexed vitamin c & collagen). It has a banana color with subtle gold shimmer that camouflages and depuffs my dark undereye beautifully. I bring it up my temples because it gives a pretty glow. It looks great without makeup and sometimes it's all I put on, but it's amazing under makeup as well. *ETA I'm about the same exact skin tone as Kelly.

I love my Patrick Ta blush NOT TOO MUCH. And my new NARS blush in BEHAVE and 920 S APPEAL is soooooo pretty!!!! L’Oreal 601 Worth it is stunning with these and the pink blush in the leopard pallet it’s the perfect neutral pink and with iconic nude perfection!!!! I actually like this Kylie butter balm in 619 and the Sephora shine lipstick in 02 soft twinkle is the best 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

I usually only spot conceal (or color correct, depends on my mood) + liquid blush for my base. I’m not using it on my under-eyes though, just to cover acne spots and general redness. Trick is that you need a very very good shade match and not to over-use the product. As little product as possible to make you feel good about it. I used nars soft matte complete concealer for a while, very pigmented product that set down and was bullet proof. Very small amounts of it. Now I use nars radiant creamy concealer. I go back and forth on which I like better. One dot (not swipe, dot) of liquid concealer on the back of my hand is enough to do my whole face. I use nars because their shade Vanilla is a dead on shade match for me and I use so little that the cost doesn’t bother me too much. I go through a doe foot concealer every 1-1.5 years. Cream concealers I never go through before they go bad.

I am VERY fair, so my experience with the Patrick Ta blushes is different than Kelly's. No matter how little I apply of the shade "just enough", it's too much! It's a great formula, but way too pigmented. I had to pass it on to a family member.

The Danessa Myricks skin tint is not long wearing for me!! I like the way it looks when I first apply but only lasts around 4-5 hours :( which i have foundations that last 12-18 so… However, I’ve only worn it a few times but I really like the new Saie concealer (specifically under my eyes) not really to spot conceal but that’s okay! I was pleasantly surprised! 😊

The new Rare beauty blushes are such a fail in my opinion. They just instantly ruin the make up you worked so hard to put together. Skin looks textured, pores amplified and that odd iridescence is just ugly. What were they thinking?..

Ughh , I also purchased a RB eyeshadow stick during the Sephora sale but I think it’s in a different shade. I don’t always reach for the stick shadows unless I’m in a rush. I don’t want to have to spend too much time blending them out. I found the Milani sticks to be like this too. I think the Thrive Causemetics sticks are easier to apply and not get that patchy look.

The Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin mixes well with the Elf Halo glow. I got my summer shade in the for the yummy skin and my regular shade in Elf. Looks really pretty together. I also use a primer, and lots of setting spray.

I got a sample of the yummy skin tint serum right before the Sephora sale. Thankfully I was able to test it prior to purchasing a full bottle. Surprisingly I’m loving it so far. I’ve been avoiding it because I thought it had a water based formula but nope it’s silicone based! I wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin types though. I havent experienced big dry patches recently but have noticed it cling onto a tiny bit of dry acne spots. Prescription medication to help with hormonal acne has caused my skin type to change from oily to normal in the last two months. So far I’m loving it for daily wear while at work.

I bought the Danessa Myricks skin tint and haven't liked it since the beginning. I've tried it several times. It doesn't dry down and just doesn't look smooth or flattering on my normal leaning dry skin. Like you, I have tried mixing it in with my fuller coverage foundations to lighten them up a little and it's better but still not the best. I hate to waste it but I really don't reach for it much.

I have quite dry skin and the DM skin tint looks teeerrible on me. Just like you described, if the planets and my skin prep align perfectly, it CAN look good. Other than that, it looks awful. AND, even on the days that it starts out looking good, it breaks down VERY quickly. It's been so frustrating seeing other dry-skinned people rave about it, call it the best skin tint ever for dry skin, etc. The blurring balm, on the other hand, works so much better for me! My skin loves the Laura Mercier weightless foundation the most, though, because it's oil-based, ha.

I have the same issue of clinging to dryness with the dm tint, and the new morphe foundation looks so so so terrible on my dry skin. It like causes or looks like there's dry chunks all over my face. It makes my concealer act up too. Idk i heard great things about it and it's a no go. I regret buying both. I do not regret the polite society foundation though 😂
