Glad to see you pick up one of these! I bought this grinder maybe a year ago and coming from a pretty average aluminium grinder, I'm super happy with it. It was definitely expensive, but with shipping costs to Australia it came in a bit cheaper than a BCG from Canada. At the end of the day it was absolutely worth the spend, the novelty of the spinner hasn't worn off and with any luck I won't need to buy another grinder in this lifetime!

Got an ongrok "petal" mill grinder and i haven't looked back. Don't even have to break your bud up, just drop it in, grind for 10-15 secs and its good. The stems even stay in the grinding chamber lol. 1/4 turn release to get your perfectly ground bud

The cost for one ranges from $199 to $600. I spent $25 on a Kingtop 6 years ago, which is still working. A little tip from 1975, then put your grinder in the freezer for a day, tap it on parchment paper, scrape up the residue, and put it in a bowl and smoke it. After I do this I clean it with 91% alcohol. A good spinner is $5.

I've had many a great grinder, over the years, but the last one I bought years ago now is by-far my favorite one, I've ever had! Took me quite a long time and a lot of research so I could make sure I got the right one and best one for me. I endt up with the mid-sized, great value for price, Kannastor model. I wanna say only 45 bucks, but cannot remember as has been so long ago now and also because I'd ordered 2 replacement screens with it. I only ever used the one but only because of preference for the specs of the screens. Really didn't care for that standard screen that came with the grinder, but I did love the ones I bought with it -- they were different material as well as a finer mesh size, so I just swapped it out when I got it, and a spare just in case that I haven't ever come close to needing yet. And...these grinders are the only ones I've ever seen that the screens are made, to easily take in and out, for cleaning or replacing. They always quickly screw right into place. And, you should save all your kief there, buddy! I always save it up until I feel it's enough, then I press it into killer hash a nice treat usually it being enough for me, and, to turn at least a few friends onto a little, also! Just fold a piece of parchment, then put the kief inside, and then I always use a cheap hair straightener. I feel I have way better control with using it for making hash, than with my press I always use for rosin...I tend to over do things with the press... But, it will come out perfect for me, every time just the way I like it with the cheap-o hair straightener. Now it is a good bit work, when all is said and done, but's also been worth it every single time I made it, as well! SO...lol! Go get YOU ONE, kid, and try one out for yourself and I nearly 100% guarantee, you will end up being happy with whatever IT IS you end up orderin' off those guys, and using! All their products are high quality, and great, whilst remaining a really nice, decent competitive price! Yessir!

I love the grinders with serrated blades instead of teeth. gets a way better quality grind than a traditional grinder with teeth by cutting the weed. I don't think the one I have is made anymore, but I have seen some quite similar to it floating around online.

yesss! I loved my mini "mill" until it lost a tooth to a seed lol....and been using my "XL" mill....BUT lol tbh, it's almost TOO huge....I mean, LOL all I do is dry herb vape....lol....I do tend to "grind ahead" and just let it sit on my desk and never have had a problem sitting for a day or two having "pre ground" herb laying out....lol. but I've heard that the dry herb vaporizing tends to be more "forgiving" and actually vapes better if it's a lil on the dryer side.

My favorite has always been the Kozo grinders. I got one with a window but I don't know if they sell those anymore. My last three grinders have all been from them, with the window lasting 4 years now. I also buy them as gifts, just love them all around.

Hehe... I've given up on expensive hand grinders. I use a stainless steel electric herb/bean grinder called Cool Knight. The damn thing costs like $20 and does a number on ANY amount in seconds. The results vape just fine.

I've also removed my outer bearing cover and if i want it to spin really fast i put a drop of isopropyl into it and it becomes obnoxiously loud and spins significantly longer. way more fun lol. he needs to go back to the og better bearings since they seem to spin longer.

Hey, chewpin, because of u and many others, I've been wanting to get a puffco peak, but i have one question, and i hope you know Can i use bubble hash/water hash in it or not? Videos I've seen always have the hot knife do i need it? And in the puffco peak video(from puffco) it said any concentrate will work But many reddit post say dont do it I hope u can make a video on thsi

Hash generally has too much plant matter left in it to dab. If you have some super high quality full melt you could probably get away with running it through the puffco but the majority of hash out there is nowhere near that level of purity so it's a good rule of thumb to just not dab hash. The hot knife isn't necessary at all but it can make dropping dabs in the chamber a little easier. A lot of people like using it but there's also a lot of people out there that feel like they're unnecessary and overpriced, so it's really a matter of preference. I haven't used one myself so I can't give you my opinion but Cewpins actually has a video about heated dab tools where he says that they're a complete waste of money, so he's definitely not a fan lol

My biggest concern with grinders is not the performance but the fact that I don't want to be inhaling micro metals. So I found a Santa Cruz Shredder that's made out of a hemp composite. Works well enough and no micro metal flakes. 👍

But Santa Cruz shredder has a "hemp grinder" it's easily pocketable for on the go....but it is just a simple 2 piece grinder....there's no keef screen and there's also no herb dish....so It does take some "finesse" lol to get the herb from the grinder to my dewb tube for on the go loading my @dynavap or my @potvlife LOBO....LOL AT Ffirst glance the "hemp grinder" looks and feels like "plastic" but it's a heavy duty "material" compared to the cheap plastic Grinders they got at the dispensary....but yea the teeth are a Lil bigger, and it does shred up some fluffy herb! I love it, cause it's the perfect size for my usage....an ⅛ will last me about a week....sometimes week and a half or so....as I'm only micro dosing. But yea it holds up good...

~I have a LARGE 2pc Space Case from 14-15 years ago. I have loved the grinder this entire time, but lately the last month or so there is this weird squeaking noise, so I need to clean it it seems.` I usually try to `scrape out the edges of gunk and such, but i really have no clue where this is coming from. It hought i Figure dout the spot but not sure. So I think I wil use some everclear to get rid of it, but I need to use the grinder for now so I've been making it work. I've been thinking about trying out some other grinders, but the prices are insane. I spent $25 or so on the 2pc large, and now they go for $100 or so... I'm not sure about hte other companies and their designs, but I'm not a huge fan of 3pc with the holes. I have a small `santa cruz shredder and I turn it upside down to grind and then let it fall through after a few more turns. It seems to create a finer grind, but in reality I should experiment with the grinds. I just have always felt a finer grind was better for my vaping purposes.

Been trying to replace my santa cruz shredder for a while now, mostly just because i just like a change. I can't find anything better, i've bought 5 or 6 grinders and nothing compares to it! It's super consistent and just has a great grind. Only downside is it's screen, its super fine which would he great but it just gets clogged too often.

id like to know if it's stainless steel....bad experience with "cheap" zinc/aluminum grinders that plain wear out... or worse....break a tooth LOL. I was praising the old plastic grinders until I managed to find a seed....and it chipped my old S&B flower "mill" lol....I still use it on ocassion for shits and giggles, cause it's just there....but just more careful now. lol

The Kactus Cutter is quite fantastic! Easily grinds 3.5 of product no problem. Came with 3 plates a one year warranty and a fidget spinner! Definitely worth checking out.
