I'm thinking the "Council is dead" is a red herring. It just means the council is not in power anymore. I'm sure some of them died but I would be willing to bet Mel, Jayce, and Viktor are still alive just injured and the council just is no more and thats why Mels mom says dead.

People have pointed out that Jayce is likely alive as its doubtful anyone else could have made Caits new rifle and aparently Viktor is scene at the 57 second mark in the trailer. The rest of the council is likely dead though.

Arcane will have 2 seasons, and the next series (Probably about Demacia or Noxus) will have another 2 seasons. Sorry to burst your bubble

I can totally see after Arcane, they work on a new series based on Noxus, since there's a ton of lore and characters there. It also helps Singed plays a big part of Noxus war efforts, so it's a great tie in for the future of League animations.

I’m so exciteddddd😩 but so sadddd it’s the final chapter😣🥲 one of the creators said it’s the final season of Arcane bc they want to explore other champions & they have something in the works that they’ll hopefully be able to give us updates on & tell us abt by the end of the year but that it’s a long process. I just hope this isn’t the last we’ll see of Vi, Caitlyn, & Jinx all together🥺 even though they won’t be revisiting this story. I’m also very curious to see how they’ll wrap up this whole story in s2 & I hope it’s more than 9 eps🤞🏽

I been playing League for 13 years now and I always feel some type of way when other players insist to ppl to not play it. Imo it's the greatest game in the world. The only thing bad is the players are super toxic and are #1 on toxic players period. But tons of free stuff you never have to actually pay for but like Fortnite when you buy events they are more than worth the spend of $15 for potentially getting 6-8 skins from a single event that would cost $5-$20 a piece. Bottom line play the game if you are a fan

I'm hoping we might see Jericho Swain or perhaps people working for him. We know that Singed has to go to Noxus to build chemical weapons for the war with Ionia, so I could see Swain moving in under the diplomatic pretense of apprehending Medarda after she incites riots because Mel died - all as a ruse to get his hands on zaunite chemtech and Singed' genius. Another hope would be seeing Renata Glasc. Maybe have her move in to fill the power vacuum that Silco left.

"Surprisingly self-aware audience: enjoy the show, don't play the game." Yeah. League is fun for a little bit while you're learning and improving, but people are so toxic. It ruins the whole experience. It's like gambling, where every game you think you're gonna hit, but you just keep sinking costs. Almost literally everyone who has played League has had that experience. The lore, on the other hand, is fantastic. Their writers absolutely killed it with some of those stories and worldbuilding. The animations are dope, too. Arcane is a testament to both of those factors.

I'm guessing Viktor awoke some mutations that kept him alive but scar, now I don't remember if Jayce had his mace with him because if he did he could activate his force field to keep him alive. I believe the rest of the council is dead Also, I forgot that one of the council members is Caitlyn's mom (Cassandra), so Caitlyn is coming out for blood against Jinx. Unfortunately, this means there will be no Vi and Caitlyn romance until Jinx is dead or imprisoned.

They don't mention specifics of the council on purpose in this, Jayce, Viktor and Mel 99% have survived.

Before the explosion Jayce is positioned right next to Viktor meaning Viktor's hexcore limbs could instinctively protect both of them with some sort of shield. I don't think Mel needs to survive because her arc seemed complete with her choosing peace. In my opinion Mel dying would be both thematic and ironic because her death also signifies the death of peace in the region and because of her mother, her death is the cause of the war.

Victor is hidden in the trailer. You can see him at 0:57 of the trailer. Its a quick flash hidden behind the attack sevika makes against the chem baron, but you can see him casting some kind of magic. You can tell its him by the transformed arm and his distinct cane. :D That little Headwiggle in the Warwick animation that lets him seem like a dog thats shaking off water or something is sooo wonderfully creepy
