I work in Hinjawadi phase 3 since 15 years and I do not know a single person who comes to phase 3 from Shivaji nagar, kalyani nagar, modern colony, university area, etc today. I may have come across maybe 3-4 people who did this but not anymore. Half of the metro route goes thru commercial, educational zone wasting the capacity. People going to Hinjawadi primarily reside in wakad, Saudagar, sangavi, Pimpri-Chinchwad and ravet and there’s no metro there

Metro DPR for all existing lines is based on 2008 survey which was revised & approved back in 2015. Wait for another decade or half you'll get metro in mentioned areas considering current speed of execution..

Metro will be extremely successful if they plan for Katraj-Balewadi stadium-Wakad-Tathawade-Punawale-Ravet metro along bypass(intersection point will be at Wakad). They don’t really need to acquire land as its under NHAI. Most of the people working in Hinjawadi, Baner, Balewadi, Shivaji Nagar resides along this patch. This should be on top priority if govt really want to solve traffic issues.

Traffic ke problem ke liye kuch solution. 1. Sabhi signal well maintained hone chahiye in terms electricity, timer dikhana chahiye na ki sirf light, aur direction bhi. 2. Har ek road pe lane ke liye line honi chahiye. Jis road pe divider nhi hai waha pe bhi. 3. He hone ke baad bhi logo ne proper signal aur lane rule follow karne chahiye. Abhi condition ye hai jaha pe signal working mode pe hai waha pe bhi traffic police ki jarurat hothi hai. System ho ya public apni responsibility samajani chahiye.

It was need of double decker bridge, from wakad to phase 3, as per current traffic, future expantion and revenu and job generated from this area. Hinjewadi diserv for double decker bridge. At least need to think on phase 1 circle to phase 3 via maan for future

Wakad to Phase 3 flyover along with metro should be best solution. Double decker kind of flyover. Hinjewadi must be producing good income to the Maharashtra government from the years & they should have provided all possible amenities to this high density areas. I don't see any good infrastructure development from my 10 years of stay here.

Metro work is almost done now in Hinjawadi. Govt shd plan a BRT in Hinjawadi area and start buses to wakad, pimple, with high frequency. That is only option. If not, shuttle buses from wakad, pimple to upcoming wakad metro station is needed.

Do not agree. Metro will not solve issue of reducing cars. Cars need to be disincentivised heavily. Roads need to be maintained to top quality. The commercial outlets you see on every nook and corner need to be curbed heavily. Driving license system needs a complete overhaul. Urban planning needs to get precedence.

Actually major problem of traffic because of school buses, company buses, water tanker, other heavy vehicle..auto rickshaw should be closed in Pune city just like Mumbai so that vehicle speed and safety will increase

True. Further Metro goes from Hinjawadi to Shivaji nagar via Baner. Going to have very less commuters. There’s only Baner on the route which is a “true” residential area with sizable population .
