I have really good memory recall when it comes to my very early childhood, and I have extremely vivid memories of preschool on, and even before when all I had to worry about was when my dad would get home from work so he could play with all my baby toys with me and my mom. My tiny bedroom had sheer purple curtains in the windows that remind me a lot of this video. My parents were like, 19yrs old and practically just pushing through at the time so I distinctly remember we found the curtains at some local yard sale, and that's all I used for a few years before we had enough money to move and I got some that I actually liked, which were red Now my parents live in a giant house in some "rich people" development with the rest of my younger siblings, and I commend them! I still feel a bittersweet connection to both the little houses they raised me in, though. I'd give anything just to sit with my 20yr old dad while he cleans off his paintball equipment and watches gen 1 transformers with me in a two-bedroom, very early 200s coded house 😹
