Honestly even if you’re a hardcore sub fan I swear madaras speeches in dub went absolutely crazy, feel bad for the people that never got to experience them.

When Obito met Madara was during the second war, so it was about the same time period that jiraiya met the rain village orphans. So it was several years before Nagato fought Hanzo

Madara reinforces the idea of what Pain said to Naruto earlier in the show about how humans cannot understand one another and the cycle of hatred. "The only things that truly exist in this world are pain, suffering, and futility" - I'm generally an optimist but if you really think about it, Pain and Madara aren't wrong.

"It was ALMOST as if you passed right through them" Obito did not LITERALLY pass through the rocks. He did just get VERY lucky. So lucky Madara said it was like he passed through them since he SHOULD have been crushed by all rights. His Kamui IS a Mangekyou ability, he did not have it at the time, Madara was not speaking literally. It's shocking how many people think him saying "IT'S ALMOST LIKE" means "You passed through boulders".

@@lankeysob No, he didn't pass through the boulders. That isn't what happened, he SAID it was ALMOST LIKE he did, because he got REALLY lucky. Obito had NO ability to pass through objects at this point in time. That's just not how that fucking works.

Nagato did not create the Gedo Statue. It was NEVER established ANYWHERE by ANY means that Nagato CREATED the statue, he JUST summoned it. That's it. Summoning does not equal creating. Those with Rinnegan have the power to summon the Gedo Statue. The statue is the corpse of the Ten Tails, sealed within the moon by the sage of six paths long ago. Not too long after the Leaf's founding, Madara and Hashirama had a BIG fight where Madara presumably died. He faked his death and fled the village however, having stolen some of Hashirama's DNA. He grafted it onto himself and near the end of his natural life span, he awakened the Rinnegan. He could then summon the Gedo Statue, and he used the statue to lengthen his life artificially. So he's lived WELL past when he should have died of old age. During the SECOND shinobi war, Madara secretly implanted his Rinnegan into Nagato. Eventually over the course of the second war, Jiraiya goes and teaches Nagato, Yahiko and Konan ninjutsu to protect themselves. Nagato also awakens "His" Rinnegan during this training. The second war ends, and Obito takes part in the third war, where he is eventually injured and meets Madara. Madara helps him recover, and you obviously know Obito sides with Madara. Obito puts on the mask and Madara dies, passing his name onto Obito. Obito locates Nagato and offers to teach him how to use his Rinnegan properly. He refuses and oh so conveniently the event with Hanzo happens. From then Nagato accepts Obito's tutelage and the Akatsuki as we know it is born.

All you said is very accurate but what do you mean by « his » rinnegan. He started to know how to use them you mean because that power even in his prime was too much for him. Normally the rinnegan is not for the humans they cannot use them because it’s too much for them aside from madara who is someone very special as we know. He kinda mastered every single hardest powers in the show all together without any problems in few seconds such as hashirama cells, sage art, rinnegans, juubi, nine tails etc

@@madaraatv2374 I said "His" Rinnegan, because those eyes don't belong to Nagato at all. He believed them to be his own eyes and his own power, but in reality they were given to him in infancy by Madara. So the Rinnegan is not his, it's Madara's.

Did you say that because as you said nagato thought it was « his » eyes but even like that it doesn’t make sense because he has them since he is little and already « awakened » them. That’s what he thought probably considering what konan was saying. You specifically said that he « awakened » them during jiraiya training, that was the question

@@madaraatv2374 ...... Nagato didn't have Rinnegan ACTIVE since he was an infant, that would kill him instantly. Madara placed a seal on them. That's why they activate in moments of extreme danger and stress, until he's old enough that his chakra has developed and they remain active all the time. The reason I said "His" is because the word "His" means they BELONG to him specifically, which is not true as they are another person's eyes that were secretly implanted into him. So Nagato believes these are just his ordinary eyes he was born with, they are HIS eyes, but that is not actually true. So when talking about it from an outside perspective using knowledge Nagato does not have, I said "His" because that means "They are eyes that he has, but they are not originally his own eyes." Why are you so confused about this? It's not that complicated, it's basic english so long as you know Madara gave Nagato his Rinnegan.

tsunade and jiraiya are the same age, tsunade is hashiramas grand daughter, hashirama and madara are the same age, so the gedo statue was a thing way before nagato

Your doubts about the order of the events... -Before any ninja war even happened, Madara fought Hashirama (people tought he died, but he didnt) -Before the second great ninja war, Nagato was born, and at some point durying his Childhood, Madara implanted his Rinnegan on him. -Durying the second ninja war, Nagato's parents were killed bye Konoha Shinobi and he joined Yahiko and Conan as an horphan group of kids trying to survive -durying this same war (second), the Sannin fought Hanzo and Jiraiya trained Yahiko, Conan and Nagato and then went back to konoha -between the second and third war, Yahiko, conan and nagato created the original akatsuki (the good one) -durying the third Shinobi war, Minato, Obito, Kakashi and Rin had that mission in wich obito "died", and Madara saved obito. -later in this same war (third), Hanzo confronts the akatsuki and Yahiko dies. Thats when nagato summoned the statue that used to be in madara's cave.

No you idiot.. Nagato fought Hanzo AFTER Obito was found by Madara. Obito and Zetsu were there present when Nagato summoned the statue (which Madara had already disconnected himself from it and officially died).

nagato vs hanzo was like 2 years after ep344, or something like that. edit: spoiler for people that haven t finished the anime - madara awakened the rinnegan after his battle with hashirama, just a little before meeting obito i think and he (i guess) told a zetsu to take his eyes and find someone that could use them (and they found then-child nagato) and stole 1 sharingan from another uchiha to use it until he finds a successor to make his plan reality (obito) and is ready to die.

When Madara met Obito, it was 3rd Great Ninja war. We Know Tobirama died in 1st Ninja war, Hanzo gave title of Sanin in 2nd and in 3rd Minato, Obito and Kakashi were recognised as Heros. So it's a pretty long time distance when Madara fought Hashirama in final battle and when Madara met Obito.

@@UnKnown6-9 i know, i only said it was after the fight with hashirama but before he met obito. he said he awakened the rinnegan prior to his death so i guess it was a little (in comparation to his age 10-15years is not that much) before he met obito since he was old af and nagato was probably either a kid or a teenager at the time.

Madara fought Hashirama WAY before Obito was even born. It took a while for the Rinnegan to awaken, but he did that before Obito showed up as well. Then once Obito is on his side they secretly replaced Nagato's eyes with Madara's.

@@haku8135 he replaced them before obito was on his side, when obito got on his side he put him under a genjutsu where he basically explained the plan and "trained" him for combat and then ripped off the gedo statue s things that were connected to him and died.
