Jiraiya looks basically the same from when he trained Nagato and when he trained Naruto so I kind of understand… if Naruto didn’t literally fight Nagato and meet face to face where it’s extremely clear Nagato is way older.

Chris, Nagato is nearly 2 decades older than Naruto my guy. Character ages are always kind of a confusing subject in naruto (aside from the MAIN characters) but Nagato is roughly 4-5 years older than Kakashi and Obito

Jiraiya's timeline with Nagato, Konan and Yahiko takes place during the end of the 2nd War. Jiraiya then returned to Konoha before the begining of the 3rd war to become sensei to Team 7/Jiraiya which had Minato on it. In the least couple of years Minato forms a new 7 seven with his student (who was a jonin) kakashi and 2 new graduates of the academy, Rin and Obito.

This explanation is based on what you've seen so far: Madara fought Hashirama but he didn't die that day and he managed to "steal a portion of his powers" after that he went back to his cave and he managed to awaken his Rinegan than he used it to summon the gedo statue than he transferred his eyes to Nagato when he was a child without him knowing. Remember when fake Madara was fighting Conan he said that the eyes are originally his and he said that he gave them to Nagato. So Madara found and rescued Obito than he went back to the cave and the reason he is still alive because of the chakra of the Gedo statue.

7:35 Not Izanagi. Madara is referencing Obito's (and Kakashi's) mangekyou ability. The ability he's been using to phase through attacks and "teleport" throughout the whole show lol. Literally, the last 2 episodes have been centered around trying to beat that ability. Izanagi would work in that situation too but that is not what Madara meant.

Madara's eyes are in fact in Nagato's head at that moment in time. Remember when Obito told Konan that Pain's eyes were actually his? It wasn't _Obito_ who gave Nagato the Rinnegan, it was Madara.

It doesn't actually make sense how Obito survived. He gave his LEFT eye to kakashi. This isn't the eye that lets him slip through things. His RIGHT side was crushed to so his right eye should have been destroyed. I think his brain only barely made it because of the headband... I guess... So Obito shouldn't have had ANY powers to slip through.

Madaras Speech is so deep. Hes not so wrong like many Naruto Villans. They all have a point and its understandble that they do what they do. Also remember that Madara said to Kabuto that what naturaly what comes after the Eternal Mangekyou Sharringan is the Rinnegan. The Rinnegan originaly belonged to Madara he "loaned" his eyes to Nagato he planed to make him a puppet for him. Obito was just a lucky coincedense.

Obito told Konan that he pushed Yahiko to start the Akatsuki and gave Nagato the Rinnegan. Nagato is older than Obito since he was a kid during the 2nd ninja war while Obito was a kid during the 3rd ninja war. A thing none of you thought about is that Obito is the reason Naruto’s parents are dead since he released Kurama the night Naruto was born. Obito would be about 18 year old since Naruto is 12 at the start of part 1 which is when Kakashi was 30.

Obito too mentioned it during his fight against Konan... back then he was pretending to be Madara and claimed that Nagato had his eyes and he wants them back....

Remember when Obito went to retrieve Nagato’s eyes. Well Madara was still alive when Nagato was just a kid and he secretly transplanted his eyes onto Nagato’s when he was very little. It didn’t fully explain this in the anime.

A little heads-up, you'll be seeing a lot of obito/kakashi flashbacks (and some of them are the whole Team Minato) from this point on. There's at least one of those flashbacks each episode and some of them will take up a big chunk of the episode. Although there are some episodes where there were no flashbacks but I can't recall them BUT I do rmb I just got annoyed after seeing the same flashbacks over and over again XD. Like we get it already! Obito loves Rin, Kakashi lost his eye, Obito got crushed, that line "Those who leave even one of their friends are worse than scum", and etc. It's very repetitive which you'll see quite soon. ANYWAYS, LOVE YOUR REACTIONS AS ALWAYS :)!! Looking forward to the rest heehee :D!

The only fact that you guys got wrong is that Nagato is older than Naruto, not the same age, as confirmed by Choji when relating Pain's traits to Tsunade and, obviously, by Jiraiya needing to know Nagato before writing the book the eventually named Naruto. Madara was 89 years old when Obito fell into the cave Konoha was created 66 years before Naruto was born, so it isn't such huge time difference, Madara and Hashirama were about 26 years old at that time Since Obito "died" and found himself in that cave when they were 12 years old(because Kakashi just became Jonin) and Kakashi is 9 years older than Naruto it was when Naruto was 3 years old It means Madara was 26+63= 89 years old (give or take as the years I counted by are just approximates) Also, it was mentioned before that after Madara was able to naturally develop his Rinnegan, he implanted them in Nagato, so that is where his eyes were "at loan" :)

@@yingyang7448 I'm just assuming that Kamui kicked in before everything was completely crushed. Probably just crushed enough to cause damage, but no totally destroy. Especially since we know Kamui can send individual parts of his body. Thus why I think it was simply and incomplete activation. But that's just my thoughts on it.
