@@GabrielAndre Your welcome Sir, I mean the mix of sound effects and splicing of the music. My favorite part was when you said "And there are children, Everywhere and I mean everywhere." (Baby sneezing and then the laugh) Priceless. You used many angles and a little spin, not too much but just the right amount. I also felt that your lighting was just right. Most cinematographers darken their videos way to much and the reality of the place gets lost. But not this video. It was true to life. I'm just getting started with making videos and I learned a lot from watching this video. I am inspired by it's perfection. I'm an English Teacher in Ha Long Bay Vietnam and you have captured the spirit of vietnam perfectly. Again, well done and Bravo , a true masterpiece.

@@freeman-1776 wow 😳 thank you so much for giving it such deep thoughts! I definitely spent a lot of time on sound design for this one, although a lot could be improved on that front I feel like. As for the look, I definitely meant to keep it true to what it was irl while trying to give it a nice flair. It does sit a bit low but I've kept the mids somewhat high ish. Very glad you enjoyed the film making aspect of it too !

Just finished motorbiking Vietnam and Thailand. Not looking forward to organizing all my footage lol I really need to get the Avata for my next trip.
@GabrielAndre Жыл бұрын
Bet you had a blast 😎 Time for the aftermath and another SSD lol. Avata is 50/50 man. Really need to be ok with sending it up and what happens happens 😂 First unit I got crashed for no reason doing next to nothing.... had to battle for a couple months with DJI but they did replace or fix it without charging me in the end. Second (or fixed) unit has been good although I only used it in Vietnam. But I sent it down Mountains, over limestone cliffs in Ha Long bay etc. So I'd say when it works it works pretty well 👍

yeah man, it has been by far the best travel, adventure i've ever experienced. How the battery life. That is one thing that's been holding me back. Waiting to see if the 2nd gen has a huge upgrade in battery life.@@GabrielAndre
@GabrielAndre Жыл бұрын
@@houseofintent glad to hear you made memories 👍 Battery life is good for an fpv drone in my opinion. You can fly it out in normal mode, find your spots and do a few lines before returning. Not complaining at all. In minutes that means probably 10 + -

Amazing bro ! May I ask which lenses did you used for this project ? And which one is your favourite ?
@GabrielAndre Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for watching and for your comment! I used two lenses: the 16-35mm f2.8 GM and the Tamron 70-180 f2.8. These would be my two favourite lenses overall for my personal travel projects, as I shoot a lot of photos as well. The 70-180 is a bit less good in contrast and bokeh transition then a GM overall but it's so small and portable while still delivering overall outstanding image quality. I'm not lugging around a massive lense anymore thanks to this lense. Much more practical. If I'm shooting a video project where I can just take and chose whatever I want, I'd probably go for some prime lenses that match the scenes tho.
