They're already 15 years old?? I'm remembering saving up pocket money enough to run down with some friends to buy a booster from this English set once or twice a week! A lot of this art is very nostalgic to me, of course child me went through a "I dont like Pokemon phase" and sold all of these off at markets my family would attend! Now i'm neck deep in the obscure Pokemon card collection and gold star scene :') typical, ay?

Whale party!! I don't know how you could keep these boxes sealed for so long, I would have ripped into it immediately after buying haha! So many lovely cards in this set, I think my favourite artwork included is either the Phanpy or Tailow. A great box to end on!

Sometimes I wish I bought older booster boxes when they had a reasonable price and kept them sealed till this day...... Amazing opening,probably the only set out of the series that I dont own a card.That Blaziken holo is gorgeous!

Surprised by the high pull rate of ex's! It is funny if you look at their abilities, they are in a way reprints of the most powerful basic pokemons from base set (chansey, hitmonchan and electabuzz), while sneasel ex is very similar to neo genesis sneasel that got banned for being too strong. The other 4 ex's in this set are similar in that regard. By the way, never understood the obsession with sealed product (unless for shady investment purposes), keeping it sealed is boring. A booster box is meant to be opened!
