I started to wake up at 5:00 last year and I actually made an effort to try and make it a sustainable habit, just for school reasons and to be more productive and get the best results possible. The key actually was to prepare yourself the night before, it’s really the most important step and I cannot stress this enough. I would go to bed at 22:00 so I would have dinner at least two hours prior to that. After dinner the number 1 rule was: NO MORE WORK! Your mind needs time to unwind before you can rest. After dinner I would watch an episode of some TV show (adjusting the blue light from my screen, which can cause you trouble with falling asleep) or I would catch up with family and at 21:00 it was time to shower if I felt like it (although I always showered in the morning), put calm music on, do some skincare and read a book. VERY IMPORTANT: not be messing around or scrolling through electronic devices at least and hour before going to bed, screens can affect your sleep (Put them to charge in other place that is NOT your bedroom). Then it was time to go to bed. Next day at five, I would feel ready to start a new productive day. Hope this helped someone.

I used to get up at 5 for almost a year for work, because it took me an our to get there and I started at seven. At first I went to bed at 22:00, but after sometime I started to go 23:00 and it was enough for me. After few months it wasn't a big deal for me.

I did that a lot while growing up during my middle and high school years. I would wake up at 6-7am, no alarm clock. My mom will tell me to go back to bed and so I did. Now in my college years, she gets at me for sleeping in when she was the main one that forces me back to sleep lol. I wish I had my old sleep schedule back tbh.

I recently started going to bed at like 9 and waking up at 5:45 and running in the morning before getting ready for school, and I honestly feel so good! I also feel really really productive and motivated to do more during the day, not to mention the endorphins from my run help my mood so much. even though I'm kinda tired in the first hour of school, i feel a lot better throughout the day. it makes me wanna eat healthier and get cleaner and more organized and now I have so much more time to things that I wanna do, instead of just working. I'm so glad u were able to benefit from this challenge and show people that waking up early is not a bad thing at all

anne! 1)Move your alarm away from your bed so you have to get up to turn it off 2) Go straight to the bathroom, wash your face etc etc 3)drink as much water as you can from the bottle you filled the night before and you are good to go! Exercise first thing,all be it some light stretching will also energise your body and mind.

I go to sleep at 10pm every day and wake up at 7am. If you use your laptop when it's dark it does actually affect your sleep hormones so it will take you ages to get to sleep unless you leave your device off for a while before you sleep.

Good thing for you to discover that you are a morning person. I have been waking up at 5-7am for 15 years because I have to. Now at 22 and working on different shifts, I feel a lot better waking up in the midday. The feeling that I don't have to wake up by the alarm clock calms me. I can sleep until the wee hours of the night and the silence is relaxing. I wish I can keep this kind of schedule but I'm back to morning again due to work ugh

Put your phone or alarm clock far away from you in your room so you have to get up and get it. That usually gets me up and keeps me up. We all need to work on self discipline sometime or another.

People always say to get your self ready the night before, well most people forgot to (ME) it’s just better to wake up at a better or more natural time such as 6:30 and going to sleep at ten or eleven, because your going to sleep at a late time and waking up at a natural time, and then having a one week break and just sleeping when you want to. It’s kinda like a school schedule

If you care for yourself, please try and get more than 6 hours of sleep. 8-10 hours is best :)

Henrietta Sveikauskiene that’s very bad for you. You should get around at least 8 hrs of sleep. You’re getting 2 hrs less than that. I don’t get 8 hrs sleep I get 7 hrs and 30 mins, however please try and get more sleep than that.

tbh not being able to sleep earlier does have a lot to do with the fact that you're editing! you need at least an hour of no screen-time because it'll keep you awake. so if you turn off electronics at 10 you'll be asleep by 10:30 and it'll be easier to wake up early - around six or seven would be great! - so stick to it ❤

Bro i gotta try doing this!!!! Especially the going to sleep early part! I struggle so much with getting up in the morning because ive got a parasomnia called severe morning sleep intertia, so to counteract that ive got to get exactly as much sleep as my body needs, else i have an episode. My entire body reacted everytime I heard any of the alarms. I hate the alarms so much that I would change them every now and then but then I just grew to hate the new alarms. So I've decided to just stick with one alarm and live with the hate.

Hey Taz! Waking up at 5.30 is a game changer for me and I hope you feel it too! A (in my opinion) major tip, maybe someone has already mentioned it: At 4:50 you say that your body can't shut down, that you still can't fall asleep any earlier than before. Well the thing is, all our digital screens send out blue light which tricks our bodies and brains into thinking that it is daytime, which messes with our body clock. I understand that working with social media requires a certain amount of hours in front of the screen but as you say, you now get the most of your work done between 5 AM and noon. So try to put all your screens away an hour before you go to sleep (maybe around 9-10 PM), hopefully your body and brain will be able to wind down and you will get a good night sleep! :)

Its Ashley I think you just buy the egg noodles stir fry veg ( or cut up your choice of veg) add a sauce of your choice and mix it all together. I like mine with sea food so I just buy some pre cooked mixed seafood (find it in the frozen section) add a bit of cooking oil in a saucepan and cook it till it’s warm then I’d add all the other ingredients. Hope that made sense

for me wake up at 3-5 am cuz i should pray subuh or sometimes 12-2 am night to pray a special prayer tahajud (very rare ppl do this) it first happend when i was 8 , i do and follow 7 religious steps and it rrly happend i woke up at 1:30 am for the first time and the closer i am with god 💞 btw i’m now 13 and imma muslim 😊

A few years ago during summer I tried waking up at 9 am, because I usually go to bed at 5-6 am and wake up at 2 pm, but I wanted to try and be more productive. I had problems hearing my multiple alarms, I think I managed for 3 or 4 days, then I got back to my night routine. It's great that you actually loved your new schedule, I hope it's become your new routine now.
