Hi Adventure Folks! Many happy returns Drew! A suggestion...Since you guys are still traveling, even on a smaller scale, look around you for rock formations, rocks in river beds and do a light research of what type geology you are visiting. It does not have to be a university thesis; a summary paragraph will do just fine. This suggestion will add a lot of interest to your channel. Geologists use a "rock pick hammer", to chip at rocks and closely look at samples; consider getting one, if you'd like to do some field explorations Almost always, you'll find interesting rocks in river beds; some even find gold nuggets. Do you carry spare bidons with you? When I lived on boats, I always kept as many 33 litre bidons on deck because sometimes it is a while between refilling the tanks and on boats you are lucky to have 100 gallons, so when it rains you stay outside and make sure all the drains are open to get a free top up.Do you have a way to empty your grey water from your sink & shower? It's actually not harmful if you are out in the middle of nowhere.All the water from my sink, dishwasher, shower all drains outside so it does not end up in the septic and waters the vegetable garden in Summer.Plants really love gray water.I love that coffee!

Yes, this is exactly what we do when appropriate. Luckily on land we can search out water refill stations and hoses in various places. Happy adventures 😊

Your journaled prayer was inspiring. Im in the hosp and have been waiting all week for my body to cooperate with gall bladder surgery. Its been a process for sure but todays the day. Its funny how worried i have been about my health and how in control i thought i was. four years later im surprised how much peace i feel to just let go and receive help. Ive never been closer to the Lord. I wish i didnt need a tragedy to look for and see the miracles around me but there it is. Your positive vibe is great.

I love making banana bread and muffins. A quick tip, before you peel the bananas just mush and squish it still in the skin. Then when you peel it it’s already mushy and ready to use. Love you guys!!

LOVE the shaved face! But I’ve said that before, when I saw an old video. Very handsome young man ya got there. I love that little pan you use. I googled it and found the website but they were sold out 😢 but I’m about to take a vacation in my Prius and I don’t have a stove but I have thought of getting a 12 volt hot water kettle. I’ll have a fridge for my heavy cream (keto diet stuff) ... I hope my dog and I can both fit in the car! The hardest part will be feeding and watering him if it’s raining outside cuz there’s no room for him to eat in the car 😮 and I’m building a toilet in the car! Omg I’m always doing crazy things in my builds but this one is the nuttiest. But I neeeeed it. I’m old, lol... and I go several times thru the night. This is gonna be crazy!

I just ordered the trial shaving package. Drew,I have had my mustache since senior year in H.S. I only shaved it off once ..i had grown a beard too,and everyone said I didn't look good...so i shaved EVERYTHING off...my daughter who was 4 at the time came out of her room and looked at me...immediately started screaming and ran to my wife hysterically crying...took about 20minutes to convince her I was daddy. The smallest city I've ever lived in is Melbourne, Australia, where I'm currently living now. I've done a bit of camping and dated a girl who very much liked to get off the tourist route and head remote. While she wasn't concerned at all, I spent the nights listening for the guys out of Deliverance to turn up. Do you ever feel scared, being so remote? It seems no one but me has this fear.

In addition, their phones leave "pings" to nearby communications towers; law enforcement can easily track them, if need be. (No such a thing as living off the grid. From horizon to horizon, an alien, flat desert. To be honest, I can't believe Mr and Mrs Adventure haven't made it here yet. We have a lot of country to explore. And most of us a pretty laid back and easy going.

We have been to all sorts of spots over the years and some have been very remote in the woods. We have to be self reliant and can't always depend on others for help. That's why we carry a bear knife (think rambo) and bear spray within reach. We feel safe, if we didn't we would just move on to the next place. It's honestly a lot more in one's own head than it is reality. Many other van lifers and full time travelers would say the same thing. We have been wanting to get to Australia for ages and hope to do some vanlife there in the future. 😊

I've been meaning to ask you guys about your compost toilet from one of your older videos when you gave a tour of your lovely spirit....is the toilet bowl also hand made or can you buy the mold from a store? My husband and I have been looking into redoing the bathroom in our class C. We just feel it would be 'cleaner,' easier and much much better than having the black tank that we have to empty. I thought it would be better to have a bigger grey tank or extra space for fresh water tank. Our grey tank is MUCH smaller than our black and fresh tanks 😒. I absolutely LOVE you guys and look forward to Thursdays! Definitely brightens my day watching your videos! ❤❤

Hi guys! Coffee with Drew & Brittany this morning! Funny you should mention "Harry's" razor and the German razor factory. I listen to Pandora a lot so I hear his ads while listening. It's the first time I've actually seen one of his razors! Pretty nice! Drew? . . . you should have kept the manly man's mustache! Haha Our barber shop finally opened up here and I was way over due. (lots of curles & grey hair dropped to the floor) My very long beard came off the day after my haircut. Talk about looking like Santa! My beard is white. (o: Have you guys considered a solar sun oven? One brand is the "Sun Oven". There are many more brands out there that would take up less space. Anyway, thanks guys and once again, another great video! Be careful out there!

Honestly, Drew only ever used electric razors before, but after harry's I think he's hooked! I bet your face feels so so smooth after removing all that scruff? Feels like Christmas no? 🥰 We have heard of the solar oven, but we like that this one feel like a house oven - some of the solar ones are funny shapes (tubular) = not pizza night friendly, and well... that's a necessity for us, as you know 😋Perhaps in a future build or a future tiny house... thank you for putting it back on our radar, and happy to know you're all trimmed up and fresh as new like Drew ✨

Hey guys, Brittany you could try almond meal from Trader Joe’s, I find that’s the best flour replacement for gluten free, so Drew’s not the only one who can enjoy the banana bread. You could always add cacao or chocolate chips too, that’s my favorite 😊

Mr and Mrs Adventure I was gluten free for a while and the two things my boyfriend didn’t mind were almond meal as flour, and also Trader Joe’s brown rice pasta just to make it easier not to make two things, we still eat that pasta just because we like it. Also the best bread was Ezekiel bread the cinnamon raisin and sesame are my favorite. I hope this helps, Enjoy

I was hoping I didn't have to mention that I did not include an oven in my stealth truck build but I made it up for it by restoring something that makes me sentimental, 1897 Dutch oven from the Chaffee Garcia Museum, the men that brought electric, water and telephone to the Inland Empire by inventing the Marine propeller in Lake Ontario Canada near where my mother was born, she was five foot one! I apologize if the mention of bear and bobcat in your area made you guys un easy but I thought you left via Cajon Pass oh, I was thinking you may make a 101 trip North oh and Brittany, I do the same thing with recipes that don't call for liquid, I add a little bit something, always 😁

I have something to mention to Brittany, I wasn't going to say anything, I thought about it and I would expect somebody to say something to me if the tables were turned so the other day setting up my ladder just 10 minutes into the work I still had butterflies in my stomach and realized I'm just human, some days are just going to be like this and I remembered a recent video had a nice calming start so I stopped what I was doing, turned it on on my phone, stuck the phone in my pocket and just background noised it and it wasn't like Adventure Thursday, it was like I had control to multitask through my job without running words of positive affirmation through my mind because oh my goodness you should see what I do sometimes if I just start daydreaming some sort of affirmation, autopilot during daydreaming on a handyman job is not advised. There's sort of a formula there that you may understand a lot better than I do

I am still moving along in my van build so soon enough I will start out by doing some trial trips. I am wondering how you find the locations to stay/boondock as well as the camp places? I want to have a plan in place for my road trips until I go full time. I am a bit of a planner for some things. Also, I love your toilet LOL. Where did you find your sparkly #1 bowl. I really love the design of the whole toilet and would love to copy this if possible. I am going to look for your vlog on the build of it. LOL funny how a cool toilet can get us excited right? It was delish! We find our spots through a number of apps (vanlife app, overland, and boon docking) and searching maps. Sometimes, we just follow our instincts and continue down roads till we feel they are a great place to stay. It's much easier on the western side of the country. We love our homemade toilet and are going to be publishing an ebook about it real soon. The urine separator came from Kildwick. Happy testing in your van 🚐💕
