What a community you all have! I watched the Sara and Luca video with you guys in it as well. I really appreciate how close this group of nomads and adventurers are and appreciate being a part of it. My family and I are safe and have been isolating since March 16th. My wife and I are very fortunate to still have jobs during this time and don't take that for granted. The kids are handling it fairly well as we try to maintain some structure. My oldest child graduates this year and we are still hoping she will get a prom or ceremony sometime this year. I think the unknown is the worst part of this pandemic. Not knowing when we can go back to normal, what the new normal may be, and so on... On a positive note, spending time with family (if you are isolated with them), being safe and sound and still having the opportunity to watch you fine folks and others is a blessing for sure. Wishing nothing but the best to all of you! Stay safe.

My third day in the van life and I was electronically, physically and mentally able to watch a mr. and mrs. Adventure video. Life is good among pandemonium. I love all your people👍. My handyman business was born out of the crashed economy and I've been busy ever since, and now that I've isolated in the van life I'm getting a lot of phone calls from people that trust that I'm not carrier, more busy than ever. Amen, I already quit shaving so I can look like a lion!

Mr and Mrs Adventure, I do my best for others thank you for adding that, what we can't do out in the world is wave our arms and yell look at me look at me but sharing with the two of you allows for that, thank you. It was really sad, around 2012 I was getting a lot of work from people that couldn't afford contractors anymore and they were complaining there in a new house adjusting to a new job with all kinds of debt and all I had for a reply was that you're going to be okay in a minute but me dealing with these injuries, barely getting through this little job and constantly getting denied Social Security disability, me my friend, I will still be looking for a new career while still taking naps during the day 5 years from now so you're barking up the wrong tree! Little did I know, I was doing my next career right in front of his eyes! God knew and what I know now for sure is that I'm not going to retire with nothing like 85% of the people my age today. Stay happy, and inspiring and thanks again for introducing us to some of your people

I really liked that. It helps to see others. But they are the lucky one's. staying out of town. I live in a apartment and have no outside space. So my Dr. says I have to stay inside. It's hard because spring and fall our my favorite times. I love looking at the new life of spring. But not this year. I would love to just feel the sun. I enjoy your videos and your words of encouragement 💖 I want to share with you how it's effected me. My daughter who is a Pharmacy Tech who deals with the public, she called to tell me that she was being tested for the viruses, it came back that she has it. My daughter has 4 kids and a husband who was out of work. And now they are all under quarantine and she is now showing signs of it. Please pray for her and my grandkids, I love them so very much. And I can't help them, it's the worst feeling, helpless.💔💔. Thank you in advance.

Hi June! She needs to be in isolation, so that she will not infect the rest of the family. Top notch hygiene should be implemented with everyone. Wearing masks indoors and out are required. There are some issues that cannot be handled by just staying at home. If she has diabetes, high cholesterol and/or hypertension, hospital treatment is required; age of patient is not a factor. Continuous coughing will spread the virus. At home food delivery/minimal contact through a bedroom door is a must. Your linens and clothes should be washed daily, if in contact with her. I know this routine, as my wife is an Ob/Gyn physician who handles patients with the virus; "complicated obstetrics" in medical terminology. Hospitalization is required as this virus can generate strokes (blood clots blockage in the brain) and can attack cardio-vascular/lungs. As there's no cure yet, isolation is the first defense. I wish her a speedy recovery. (A retired bio-engineer)

I get my new handpan tomorrow so I’ll have lots to do, I’ll record the unboxing. But today I had to wear a mask and take my new puppy, Spanky, to the vet and they come to the car to get your dog. He ate pieces of wood while my hubby took him out on Monday, and has thrown up large hard pieces of wood this morning. I hope he doesn’t need surgery. The waiting is hard. I couldn’t even go in to the vet clinic with him.

Mr and Mrs Adventure they found more wood in his small intestines and his stomach. It was pretty bad. He’s gotta stay there three days and hope there’s no secondary infection. I can’t even visit him. They said he will be heavily sedated with pain medication. It’s pretty serious.

I feel for Christina with her husband being away. She didn't mention if he made it back, or I might've missed that. I am in a somewhat similar situation. I've been apart from my husband since November. We were living together in the UK in his hometown when he got a job offer with a company in Berlin Germany. It was really exciting, but I stayed behind to sort the house we were renting and wait to get my visa sorted (I'm American, so we just wanted to make sure I could come back to the UK with no problems). He came home for Christmas which was wonderful and I've been staying with my in-laws in the meantime. When it hit March, we decided to try and get me and my pup over there and my in-laws had a holiday planned in Europe. Unfortunately, the trip was planned for just days after both Germany and the UK went on lockdown, so I was unable to reunite with him. I miss him terribly. My in-laws are so sweet for letting me and Floki (our dog) live here for the time being, but I am constantly looking forward to the day where I can be back with my hubby and just getting back into our normal routine of life.

Walmart & hardware stores open at 7:00 am. everbody renovating. I have move my shower tub. Used to use 2 big pillow and use it as a chair. I've change it to its now under a across the van couch and the tub underneath. Just put a ply wood over it and carpet it. I use a runner carpet cut it to length it perfect size For the ply wood didn't even have to cut it. and I used another thick carpet that cover that ply wood and down to the floor. with the runner carpet on top. a 2 tone carpet dark blue thick carpet with lighter carpet designer runner on top 1" short on all side, looks custom. So now you can lean back on the bed or left or right again the wall. You lift it to the front standing up to shower Then I ran two diy shower curtain that perfect to fit in the tub across the van and both side has a extension so you can turn it to the other cord so it close the middle. The water drain is a hole you shove the hose in. came out pretty nice looking and it's very comfortable and it's adding 5 diffrent spot to sit and 2 diffrent side to lie down. I use a /2" foam and 2 carpets and the bed soft to lean back on too. So it's really a step down 1/2 way from the bed and the side of it can be used for storage too. Hi Adventure Folks. Just an observation...it looks like during the quarantine, some van-lifers transitioned to raising-animals-lifers; tending to chickens, cats and what's next. Barn animals are beautiful but require constant attention, as if you have children. Another observation...some van-lifers who can't travel again because of restrictions, are getting used to home life-style; cozy home amenities. It's a nice break from daily travel stresses. This food lasts us well over a month. We buy in bulk so we can save on the per item cost. We grateful we have the ability to do this. It's calculated on $10 of per person per day ($700/30/2= 35 days of food per person) We completely feel for you and pray that you are able to get help or earn so you can get groceries.

@@Mrandmrsadventure I am on the East Coast but if I were you I would not share too much intel about where you are storing food.Many meat plants closed this week and even a farm I live near which only serves the local community is limiting purchases which I found odd since they don't sell to restaurants.I admire your sense of optimism but I fear things will get very bad.I have preps myself but prices went up in 1 day by $2 for a pound of ground beef.Everything is going up on a daily basis.I'm trying to buy now because even with growing food and canning it will not be enough.You should try to find a place where you could grow crops, it is a lot of work but you will have fresh food.I know there are a lot of pictures of people receiving groceries but the food banks in my State closed 6 years ago apart from Boston and I live in the Country so the media is a little misleading that there is help.Stay Safe!

I have prepped for years before prices went sky high.I also watch a prepping channel and the man who runs it has revealed his location, the amount of food he has, he has Thousands in a solar array and someone commented that , I am coming for your food, I know where you are.This may start to become the new norm because most people never prepped.I lived on an Island and sailboats so I know how to provision.I actually did it for a large yacht charter company for many years before Hurricane Irma.I fear many people will get out of control because after 2 Cat. 5 hurricanes I have seen looting of businesses & homes.I have had to defend myself because I was living abroad for 25 years.I know that everyone wants to get back to pre-Covid Life but that may take a while.I have found that we need to go into our preps more & more and that is frightening because we saved that food for terrible times we hoped never came.I'm a retired graphic artist by trade and have been out of work even before the virus.It's not pretty out there and I worry people will get riled up in the Summer months.I'm happy you found your paint box!

@@Mrandmrsadventure seeing the Dick Blick products was a blast from the past.I always loved how I could find everything from them before the internet when you had to fax your order.My Company , My ex & I parted, is called Signs & Designs N.V. in St. Maarten, some of our signs can still be seen on the internet.It was feautured in Signcraft, June 2001which was an honour for me.I really, really miss making art and creative signage but I have pretty bad arthritis in my hands so apart from doing translating work that's about it.I used to remember going through the Blick catalogue like it was the FAO Scwarcz toy catalogue because I guess you are lucky to be born with artistic talent as I was and you are Brittany.I enjoy that you still create by hand.Computers are fine for some things like CAD but I still find the "hands on" whole concept a joy.
