If you hadn't heard, Sillybutts is prototyping an AEB platform. The CW76 has great performance for the price, but I'm hoping that a bullpup conversion becomes readily available for it. Argus modworks in Taiwan has shown off an angled Talon through grip bullpup conversion, but I don't know where it is in development.

Bullpup configurations are basically the optimal set up for AEB's in my opinion, with where technology is at the moment. I would pay anything for an AUG or Tavor style of blaster like this.

I absolutely love mine. Hobbyist quality Nerf AEGs have been incredibly dodgy in my experience but this one has been rock solid. It's not over engineered, it's just a basic aeg with solid performance. That was exactly what I wanted.

The Vulcan is also an AEG but it uses chains so it’s a dumb blaster. But dang this a crazy blaster, you could literally sneak up in someone without having to rev up your flywheels and you can still spray full auto at them, so beneficial and the rate of fire is pretty high as well so that makes it really good.

Obviously I'm good at videos because I said the completely wrong thing on how the blaster works, and then kept it in during the edit. The plunger tube moves forward, which compresses the spring against the back of the plunger tube. Then the plunger tube hits a release on the plunger rod, all during the forward movement of the whole system, and that releases the spring tension and slams the plunger rod forward creating air pressure. At the full forward movement of the plunger tube, the large red pusher breech has pushed a dart from the mag into the barrel and sealed behind it, and all of this is timed together to fire a Dart. But apparently nobody was paying attention, because nobody has corrected me in the comments lol.

A couple of guys in my nerf group have gotten their hand on these and they seem pretty sweet. The blaster is very large tho. When I first got my hands on it I ended up putting the magazine in closer instinctively due to how close to the grip most magwells are. I totally missed the magwell by a couple of inches. One thing that did scare me from this blaster tho was some of the issues that one of my friends had with it. He kept getting feeding issues with it (granted it could have been due to the tachis) and a piece of the plunger tube ended up breaking off and getting around the plunger tube. I’m hoping that that is something that is wrong with his and isn’t a problem with the majority of them but it’s definitely something to keep in mind.

I own the QWK edge which is also an AEG/AEB and although it is pretty picky with darts(I mainly just use bamboo darts and red worker gen 3+ darts and they work fine), I absolutely love it. If it wasn't for the realistic silhouette and colors, I'd primary it as much as I could. AEG/AEBs have the benefit of springers(not having to rev and having better accuracy and power) and the benefit of flywheelers (automation and rate of fire). Although AEGs are already a big part of airsoft and gel blasters, they could also be huge in foam blasting if people keep making blasters like these.

I got one in the pre-order. Absolutely love my colonel Wasp 76! Brought it down to 150fps for my nerf club games with a worker adjustable scar. It does 170fps without the scar with Max Pro darts with the stock spring. Lots of fun to use in a nerf war, and talon compatible!

@@jacoblewis437 it does a 170 fps with no scar with the low power spring. Had to give the worker adjustable scar a lot of twist to get it down to 145fps. With the high power spring it does 200+ fps. Its quite powerful.

The challenger is a lot like a modern weapon, full of safety features and extremely expensive. The all new Nerf MP40 is like an old gun, it'll explode if you don't shoot it at a 45 degree angle or something but very cheap

me and my nerf group found some problem with our 76s -the lower receiver begin to crack after 2-3 game the crack appear where the lardge gear are located -buffer stock attachment point is pretty fragile and can be break off easily over problem cam from fragile receiver lear material also wiring need to be improve to prevent overheats problem
