c Creme de menthe in a cocktail does seem gross. My parents always had it in the bar at home because at a party there would be someone who wanted a grasshopper. I am a fan because my folks would put a little creme de menthe on vanilla ice cream for me as a treat. I felt VERY grown up because I knew it came out of the bar cabinets. To this day I will occasionally put some on vanilla ice cream.

Dearest Randy - You know I'm one of your biggest and most devoted fans. So let me correct your one faux pas here. The current Waldorf as I absolutely know you are completely aware is on PARK AVENUE in Manhattan; the original Waldorf Astoria (where the original two hotels were joined together) was on the land on Fifth Avenue where the Empire State Building now sits. With all my humble respects 😂
