I agree completely with everything you said, especially regarding the pandemic being the driving force for their release.. I haven;t had SKY for at least 15 years and although I have a PC I could never sit in front of it watching it as I would a TV. So I could only see the 6 nations. I still have a panasonic Plasma TV which is not smart and so no access to KZbin there either. This last month I've had a Mini PC connected to my TV and I've been watching a treasure trove of rugby from the World Cup 2015 and 2019 and still have loads to go. It is FANTASTIC!

We were lucky that day. France probably were the better team but for red card but Wales were defininately the better team in 2011 Semi, and but for a red card Wales had imo a good chance of winning RWC. A young, fearless, talented team who are now reaching the later years of their careers. and too many of who were injured in 2015. The emerging French team ( despite 6N blip against Scotland ) will be just reaching their peak and, unless they suffer from too many injuries are very strong contenders for RWC 2023 and play fantastic rugby.

South Africa and Wales were the best two teams at the 2011 World Cup. Just total coincidence they both got ejected in a dodgy manner. Nothing to see here, move along. After 2007 the NZRU were willing to do pretty much anything to ensure a home World Cup win.

Great game by the Welsh v the French Barbarian team. Perhaps more focus on picking French players rather than mercenary players and they would have won that one and possibly the tournament. If they keep picking an ESG barbarian team, I doubt they will win a RWC final. The cohesion and team spirit is lost when players don't share a similar culture and race. It is merely club rugby. Club rugby isn't at the same intensity and commitment as Test matches. I would love to see a FIJI RWC final win in 2023. They have one of the only truly nationalist teams with everyone putting in 100% for their fellow countrymen. Such a pleasure to witness in this modern day of Rugby! Or Ireland/Wales!

For the first time Rugby 7s will be an Olympic sport in the Tokyo Olympics and it's going to be really interesting if either England, Scotland or Wales win a medal as the IOC doesn't recognize any of these as separate countries. They have always had to compete in the Olympics as Great Britain. So this begs the question of what happens with the Rugby 7s? Do any of the medals won just go on to the medal tally of Great Britain??? If that is so then how can Great Britain have 3 separate teams competing in the Olympic Rugby 7s when everyone else has only got one???
