Rito Raba comes from north eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh. He is definitely Indian, India is very large and diverse, our north eastern brothers & sisters come from mongolian descent thats why they look like what people from west would typically consider east asians. These people are extremely talented yet underrated and under appreciated. Regarding Rito, he didnt make it to top 15 but audience were so furious they actively boycotted the show but it did make him more famous though. Also you should listen to an indie band called "The Local Train". You will definitely enjoy them, very old and underrated band.

Going to "The Local Train"' 's live concert was one of my dreams. I legit cried when I heard the news of the band getting disband :( The beginning instrumental part of one of their songs called "Choo Lo" is till this day my ringtone. People didnt appreciate them enough back then, but now they would have made ripples specially after the internet boom. I can only hope they come back together again.

Rito Riba got rejected from Indian Idol singing reality show competition, people loved him and got viral, he released original music video of same song and rest is history.. he is doing concerts currently and the same Indian Idol singing competion is still going on and he is already a star. Here in India many artists don't get a chance to shine because they don't have connections. Some of my favourite singers who have stars like outstanding voice but don't shine are Abhijeet Bhattacharya the famous playback singer who threw out from Bollywood due to some reason and my favourite Abhijeet sawant the first Indian Idol recently BBC did his interview as people still remembered him and love him. Rito Riba is also like them but people support him now so he gets a chance to shine. I also became a fan of him instantly after hearing his song.

The intro for Rito Riba was the song he sang during the auditions....He is amazing!!..I love his voice n abt the show....he auditioned in Indian Idol but but he only made it to the Mega Auditions....after all that there was "BYCOTT INDIAN IDOL" and it was the audience's love and due to which his mega audition song trended and a youtube channel wanted to make a mv on it so he sang the song again with some more lyrics added.....
