The legit holy mother of vocal endurance and dynamics. There are many great singers in the Philippines but when it comes to full voice power and grace, Katrina Velarde bats 100% in live performance belting that you sometimes fear she'll eventually miss. And those decrescendos coming off a a very long sustained full belt then ending in something short of a whisper, that is tough even for the best singers. Thank you for featuring this awesome live performance

The original is Judy Garland from the film The Wizard of Oz (1939) it’s sweet, simple and charming, Patti Labelle changed the key and added riffs runs and techniques that were amazing. I didn’t realise this was Patti Labelle version or even existed until I heard Katrina Velarde sing it. I thought Katrina change Judy Garlands original version when I first heard this in 20-7!
