According to esang coach leah had a very sharp ear.... even a dot mistake leah could notice thats why esang really paying an attention during her rehearsal coz she dont want to mess up....and she look up coach leah a big tree a legend that she idolized since she start singing and choose as a mini me.

When Esang auditioned on The Voice - Kids, of course Lea turned, along with all the other judges. She kept saying she'd been waiting for Esang to come and told everyone that Esang is her "mini me". Esang's conversations are usually in straight Filipino, but when she sings she obviously has perfect diction, as coached by Lea herself! I've watched an interview of Lea where she looked almost like an excited mother, talking about how Esang has been asked to audition and join several theatrical productions abroad.

That is Lea’s concert, and she has Esang as one of her guest. I have the privilege to watch it live, and still I cannot explain how elated I am hearing them live. My goosbumps were having goosebumps. Esang joined a televised talent show when she was young, she was imitating Lea, that is why she was dub Lea’s “mini me”. Lea probably heard of her through that talent show, so when Esang auditioned on the voice kids, Lea was so excited to see her and she said “i know you, you are mine”. This is another wonderful reaction to Esang de Torres. She truly is a Lea Mini Me. This is making me miss theater so much. Both your points of view are so nice to listen to. She has been trained by her dad who sings but is really a lawyer. When her dad saw her potential, he decided to nurture her love of singing. Lea mentors her on her theater career too. There is an interview of Esang by CNN Philippines that would be nice for you to watch although it is in Tagalog. Unfortunately, I don’t think there are English subtitles on it.
