I love it when this kind of reaction turns into something other than the review of the performance itself. When it goes deeper than just mere reaction but struck a lesson, a conversation or a philosophy in life to talk about. It makes watching or listening to the reaction more interesting and enjoyable.❤️❤️❤️

Their philosophical views and opinions are one of the things i look forward to in their reaction vids. Both siblings had their own things to say that really makes sense and most of the time strikes a note that either makes you assess your views or be in awe..

This song is a rendition of suffering of Jesus Christ down to Calvary. Lea's singing was like she was one in the crowd testifying to what happened. Feels real to me ( goose bumps all over my body ) her interpretation- vision like you're there too.
@leticiachiok80572 жыл бұрын
What I really like when Lea sings a musical piece like this is how she interprets the song with feelings. I believe that Wale sees the minute details of the true interpretation of a song.

Spanish used to be a part of the college curriculum here in the Philippines. I wonder if she took it too, however, she is so talented that I believe she can sing in any language and nail it... I get you Waleska, hearing a song in a language you actually speak adds so much more to a song.

Lea was my contemporary, and we did not have anymore Spanish subject in college.

Lea has sung songs with elements of English, Filipino (and there are several different Filipino dialects/languages so I’m not sure how many besides the National language), Spanish, French, Italian, and German.

Efra said "spanish" is the perfect language to convey pain and love... that's exactly what I feel for tagalog, for me it's the most romatic language in the world, specially when you hear it in a song. That's why I really like it every time you react to a tagalog songs and you search the lyrics and translations and you like it, it really makes me proud of our language :)

The Philippines has a very popular and beautiful singer, now considered a diva matriarch, presently in her late 70's or maybe already at 80 but still so beautiful. Her name is Ms. Pilita Corrales.

I like how Waleska analyzes the form and the emotion behind the composition and the composer, because it is how on can appreciate the art and artistry behind the piece, and Efra is being challenged to see things in a different point of view. No wonder I'm so hooked to your Feature Fridays.

Wow that was a powerful piece, thanks for sharing. Filipinos seem to share the sentiment of folklore music and ballads during the colonial period under much oppression, pain and suffering and thus engrained in their music. This style of singing came about when the west had opera, we had *Kundiman* which may have been sung in Spanish and they sang for their loved ones, freedom for the motherland, and a prayer and outcry to God. Also there were songs of melodic *Harana* where men would sing, usually accompanied with a band, to court and serenade a lady under her window at night.
