@mikeborrelli193 Жыл бұрын
My advice is don't sink money into a 750 ACE. You can find these VTX 1300s for between 3k to 4k and it's an infinitely better cruiser no matter what is done to that 750ACE.. Sell it for 2.5k and put that thousand dollars you would have spent towards a VTX..

How low can you go on the rear progressive shocks without bottoming out? I think the stock VTX 1300 rear shocks are about 12.5 inches, what size rear shocks are you using? I am really digging the lowered rear end look, but I was wondering do the rear shocks actually work being so short, or is your back taking all the impact from the road? Besides shorter shocks, are any other frame or fender braces modifications needed? And what happens when you put a second person in the back? Thanks for the answers in advance for the super loaded questions?
@BuildingFun Жыл бұрын
I’d have to get a measurement for ya on the actual length of them, but I’ve got the settings on them pretty low. If I hit a big bump you can feel it bottom out a little, or if I get a passenger I just twist the collar up a few notches and it makes enough spring pressure to stop it from bottoming it out. No modifications needed! I’m pretty sure they are standard lowering shocks for the vtx
@BuildingFun Жыл бұрын
They just naturally have a lot of room in the rear fender!

@@BuildingFun Any chance I can get measurement for the rear shocks? I want to lower the rear end and go as low as possible.
