Skibbereen is a town in County Cork, Ireland. It is located in West Cork on the N71 national secondary road. The name "Skibbereen" means "little boat harbour". The River Ilen runs through the town; it reaches the sea about 12 kilometres away, at the seaside village of Baltimore.

A nervous walk, and a little skip - I smell the coffee brewing.. a gubeen "hey" and a nervous "hi" I love it, have you seen the water mewing. A saucy looking, an awkward glance and I said "never again". A final glance and a final dance, I exclaim "what are you doing "
