No door interlocks! What makes you think it’s not low on Gas! Surely with a blocked evaporator your gauges would have indicated this! Personally I would have cleared ice on evaporator and checked running pressures and dry tested defrost cycle! Good video 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Why there is too much ice on coil . Fan should stop working when unit is on defrost .
