Thanks Pastor John for explaining things concerning sin in practical ways (avoidance). Applying God's Word in useful ways to combat sin. This sermon was extremely helpful to me in dealing with issues in my life. May God continue to bless you and your family. Thanks again brother 🙏

This entire sermon felt like John calling me out over and over...I am an atheist trying to learn find my way to Jesus. I have read Luke and Acts and just started on John. As I have been reading, a thought in my head kept being, "How can Jesus forgive me shunning him and attacking Christians for all these decades?" and then John says Jesus' blood is enough. Then he goes on about praying, I have no idea where to start but have felt like I needed to figure it out to keep progressing on this journey. I don't know what to say or pray about. Then John talks about thinking the KZbin sermons were enough and once again I felt like he was talking directly to me! I have yet to figure out how to explain to my atheist wife that I am now going to start going to church on Sundays. Then the blaming, hiding, and justifying of Sin and how being idle allows them to occupy your time.

I asked my Wife to watch the marriage by the book videos John put out with me. I also had doubts about her response. And now she’s working on giving her heart to Jesus as well. Just say the words brother. Spill your heart out for your wife just like you would for Jesus. Tossing out a prayer 🙏

It's up to you to lead her. You can do it with God's help if you allow him to lead you. I'm still trying every day to better at it myself. It's a fight for sure.

I love how the comments are nothing but “it’s god!!” “Just tell her and god will…” Lol 😂 I get it man! I was raised baptist, became an atheist, was addicted to opiates for 10+ years, got clean. Started a new life, without god or his help!! My hard work and blood! Then once I found “myself” moved into the whole “god” thing…. Read everything! Believe NOTHING!! Take your time deciding on what route, don’t let those “certain” people bully you into church and so called believing. Doubt you’ll ever see this but if ya do, GOOD LUCK!! You’re gonna need it wadding through all the church bullshit and finding “god” for what he is. Again, good luck brother!! Hopefully you find what you’re looking for 👍

So yet, I was denied entry into the seminary for a permanent Deacon, because of a past sin…even though I was sent to Hell and later confessed and was absolved of that sin through a priest. I guess the Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, all Glory to His Holy name, didn’t want me to be a part of the Catholic Church?

@@r0btimUs0341 excellent! I mean also, Luke gave us his gospel account and the book of Acts which is more historical chronology than letters of exhortation or Midrash / Commenteries / Interpretations. In your word count, are you attributing the letter to the Hebrews to either Luke or Paul?
@aguyinthewoods8294Күн бұрын
If those numbers are accurate, they only reiterate what John said which was that Paul wrote about half the New Testament.

Babies aren't sinners. What sin does a baby commit?
@ZUL8R_DAVE2 күн бұрын
None my sister. The church doctrine of original sin is very different than the Jewish understanding. We all die because of Adam’s sin, but we are not all born sinners because of Adam’s sin. Babies are not sinners
@ronaldmyers69842 күн бұрын
@@ZUL8R_DAVEthe original text of the Jewish language said that the sin is passed from the father too son . We are according to the Bible born into sin and need the sacrifice to cover our sin from God's view .

@MargaretJ-i3m Romans 5:12 says wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned. And Psalm 51:5 says behold I was shaping in iniquity and in sin did my mother conceive me that does not say that he was illegitimate it says that the sin was passed from Adam and Eve through their blood to everyone and sin was passed down because of that.
