Me and my kids were watching this game. They were all in for Jax State. Great ending and great upset bythe underdogs. My kids were screaming when they tied it up, Louisiana missed the field goal, and when Jax State kicked the FG to win. Great Bowl game!!

I remember when Jax State beat My Seminoles a few years ago After seeing this I suddenly dont feel as bad about that loss

Yes I remember that! I believe they have either beaten or almost beaten auburn as well recently not a bad little program at all. This was their first year able to play a bowl and their first appearance in one and of course first W in a bowl.

Yeah, none of the big SEC schools pay them to play them. Auburn did and almost paid the price. Ole miss did pay the price. Alabama says they will play them every few years, but things "never work out." They've been dominating D2 for 40 years.

Man Jacksonville State kept shooting themselves in the foot to the point that i thought they were going to lose. You take away all those turnovers they had this game wouldn’t have been close

The biggest mistake I saw was Louisiana not calling timeout with 4 seconds left. JAX had taken a knee just outside the goal line😮. LA had another timeout, take it force the next play and pack the line. They can't take another knee, not enough room. They have to run it. If they don't get out of end zone....safety, 2 pts, game over.

The fight breaks out between two teams in the second quarter. Then, Zion Webb completed a fourth down pass to Perry Carter for an 18-yard, tying touchdown in regulation, freshman kicker Garrison Rippa converted the second field goal attempt of his career from 27 yards in overtime, and Jacksonville State capped off its first season in the Football Bowl Subdivision with an overtime victory over Louisiana-Lafayette Cajuns.

Amazing win by Jax St to have played so bad. This game should have never came down to that. JSU was 3 TD's better but saved their worst game for the bowl.

GREAT GAME BOTH TEAMS THE J'VILLE ST PLAYED GOOD FOOTBALL BEATING THE LOUISIANA FOR THE BOWL GAME OFFENSE PLAYED GOOD/DECENT NOT TOO SHABBY 100YDS FOR THE QB THROWIH 50+YDS MAYBE MORE RUSHING ON THE GROUND MAYBE MORE 150+YDS IN THE AIR RECEIVING SPECIAL TEAMS DID GOOD JOB AN THR DEFENSE PLAYED SOLID GETTING MAJOR STOPS WHEN NEEDED APPLYING PRESSURE TO THE QB THE WHOLE GAME HAVING THE RECEIVERS ON LOCKDOWN STOPPING THE RUN GOOD JOB JAX-ST AND THE LOUISIANA CAME OUT GAVE IT ALL THEY UAD PLAYED A GOOD GAME FAIR GAME PLAYED PHYSICAL WAS GOING AT IT TO BACK TO BACK CAME UP SHORT STILL PLAYED A TREAT GAME AND GOOD JOB AND GREAT GAME BOTH TEAMS

What kind of a Bowel Game has a 6-6 team playing in it? Consolation Bowl? I don't get it...

If you win 6 you become bowl eligible. I have seen a couple already where it's like a 10-1 team against a 6-6 which is kinda silly..... however. There is always huge upsets so I guess it still works.
