i spent 3 months researching these quads (intermediate and expert) you have confirmed my choice,this model did seem to give the biggest bang for sure. It's been 2 weeks that I am carefully learning all that I can beore the maiden flight which should be some time near end of march. That is if we ever do get spring in the north east. great video. that camera seemed less to be desired. really snowed out when you reached a light area. If you replaced it with a gopro, would it still connect up? Also could you hook up something like fatshark to this or is the wiring really customized for what it is currently using? Thanks.

I got a Walkera QR X350 the other day, charged it up, drove to a nice secluded field and started flying. 15 minutes later cops showed up and told me you can't fly drones there. I go online, and see about 75% of the Netherlands is no drone zone, and I'll have to drive 30 miles everytime I'd want to fly it. Happy 4th of July you Americans.

Hey Jim. Just got one of these for a great deal. I haven’t gotten it out yet. Waiting on a battery. I noticed you didn’t do the compass thing where you rotate the drone in its axis. Is that not something you have to do? Or did you just not show it? Thanks man. Great video!

Hey J. Graham, What can you suggest for a novice to the game who is trying to piece together a Qr x350 Pro with 3D gimbal and iLook camera....I couldn't afford a full stock version so have slowly bought the pieces but having trouble shooting the techs on it. In contrast to your out of the box setup mine probably has different presets on the Devo 10 and the wiring wasn't in place. Do you have any videos or suggestions for those who are going through the process of making sure the defaults or presets are correct for the setup and that the wiring is in place to do so....?

Hi, I've a "problem" with my x350 pro if we can call it like that. The quad keep his startup direction (north, south, east, west) even if I try to rotate and go foward in another direction it doesn't work. I would like to know if there's any ways to fix this thing.

+Antoine Pedneault sounds like you are in camera mode or whatever it's called, makes it easier to pilot when filming. You can point it in a direction and then fly it relative to your position not the orientation of the quad

Hey, great video on the qr x350 pro. I accidentaly resetted my devo F7, and now there are no setttings in anymore :( i don't know if there is a .dfu file (to upload again via usb) somewhere for this configuration (x350pro and devo f7) ? so... i'm going to ask you a favor. is it possible to make a video of the settings ( go trough every setting there is plz) so I (we) can set up our devo f7 again to factory settings ? i glady would pay you for it, because now i cannot fly my drone anymore :( Many greetings from hot Belgium :) regards, Bob Lenaerts

So how would this Model Compare to DJI Phantom ? Also Which DJI Phantom Model would the Walkera QR X350 Pro FPV Compare to ? I Will be a Newbie So i don't want to go to expensive yet Under 1,500 for a nice set up is in my Range. I was looking at the DSLR Pro Models as well like the Cannes Cinema Edition P2 Aerial Kit, Price is $3,699.00, As i am looking to take Aerial Views of Real Estate and Maybe Some Wedding Aerial views as well. But that will be much later on as i want to learn how to Fly , Record, Calibrate, Program Etc, Before i get into something So expensive Like the DSLR Pro Model. I was doing some reading and the FAA made some interpretation of the new laws for quads in the United States that do not allow FPV, which sucks because I was looking at the dromida to start FPV with then possibly move up to bigger and better from there, oh well at least we can still film from the air, just not above 350 feet (suggested height given by the FAA).

Anthony Eaglebarger I think the FAA rules are for commercial purpose. However, you can't fly over people, or above 400 ft, and it's a no no near airports. BTW , you can get in trouble f you fly over your neighbor's property.

Be careful on return to home mode as the other day it flew back to GPS position 10ft above the takeoff spot , hovered then turned itself off and fell to the ground . It was a mess some cracks , needed to be popped backed together and some good tape and it FLEW again ,,,,,AMAZING ! Then the other day I was bringing it back down as I guessed battery was getting low ,,,, and I dropped the power to zero for a moment (accidental) , went back to full power but too late it just fell from the sky over a 100ft ....SURVIVED AGAIN , landed in the corn field which saved it ,,,,PHEW .... AMAZING ....

Hello guys had some problem with my walkera qr x350pro. Actually i had a crush from 10m i think cause the battery run out... Anyway only the case was broken and propellers. I replaced them and added the propellers guards too. After fixing the quad and added the gurds i noticed that i couldn't fly over 7 minutes with the guards on it. I thought that the problem was the extra weight so i removed them. After an hour flying time in a week about 7 batteries without a problem or a crash suddenly it dived down on a flight when i turn the stick to gps mode. I switched fast to manual so i escape one more crash but when i had a closer look 2 of the 4 motors where so hot couldn't even touch them and actually under the one of them the plastic was melted. Does anyone has any idea of whats is the problem for hitting the motors so much? Spent so much until now to do some aerial photography jobs with it and need to find the solution. If anyone has the same problem or know how to fix it please let me know. Respect to Regroups guys. Thank you.

Not over exaggerating at all, this quad is great I have a phantom 2 and this quad and believe it or not I prefer to fly this quad overall. I understand the phantom is great for Arial photography but this quad for 1 is a lot faster for 2 gps hold system seems to be the same if not better for the money you pay and for 3 return to home is a couple feet closer than phantom
