The Shiva death episode is my most hated one, no possible way for a bunch of putrified, rotting zombies soaking in grunge water would stand a chance against an adult tiger - wouldn't be able to bite through the fur, or get enough leverage to overpower a big cat that likely weighs in at 400+ lbs , could snap off a leg or arm with a single swipe of a paw. Tiger cubs play with bowling balls. I understand the dramatic impact of the scene - but it's ludicrously unbelievable - getting shot would have worked cuz only Tarzan could kill a Tiger and he'd have to use a knife to do it. The battle against the Black Beast of Argh in Monty Python and the Holy Grail was more honest - the Knights of the Round Table prevailed because the animator had a heart attack and died - that should have been the angle TWD played in this episode.😁

The exchange between Carol and Ezekiel (E06) was fantastic. The acting, too. To convey so much grief with only a chain as your prop. I don't really know how much thought goes into these scenes but I see more in these scenes that TWD does particularly well, than I do in any other show. Real chemistry! And again - a throwback to Ed in S01.

The last helicopter we had seen was in season 3, when the Governor brought the pilot back to Woodbury after the helicopter crashed. While five seasons feels like an insane about of time, within the actual show it's only been about a year or so... Judith is still a baby, likely not even a year old at this point in season 8. And she was born at the prison, shortly before we met the Governor.

Wait what? how about the group, they got older and got white hair in just a year already? and Carl tho he looks like he is in his teenage age, at this point, Judith also can walk in season 7 eps 7 showing this time gap could be more than several years, at least baby can walk within 3-4 years.

@@雄叶 Kids start walking around a year old. And many start talking then too. And many kids that are brought up around other children hit milestones earlier. It isn't unheard of for babies to walk at just 9 months old. As for Carl, and others, aging, they kept the same actors and time moves on in real life, whether the time in the show is supposed to be 10 minutes or 40 years. So they will age like normal in real life and the show didn't seem to care about trying to "cover" that. Judith's aging most of all, but Carl's too, do not fit the timeline of events. It's TV. There has to be some elements of make-believe.

Glad to hear Chance sing the praises of how much is going on in S08. So many have said it was too much, too camp, too boring, missing the whole point of how intricately woven all this stuff is, which then makes things happen for a reason. So many like to just watch things happen - welcome to Michael Bay. It has its place - but not on TWD. When we're watching TWD, we have to feel and believe... then the car blows up!

This is a seriously good episode (5). Okay, a little longer than usual, but they did a lot of set up before they rolled the intro titles - easy to forget that's coming...until you realise you ain't chair-danced in a while! The way Seth Gilliam plays Father Gabriel brings so much more to the table than the graphic novel gave us. And his progression, up to now, is phenomenal yet, because he's so masterfully played, so credible, too! It'll be sad to lose our Gabe but this is TWD and anything can happen! Anyways - a big build up in this ep. for the many things to come. Enjoy, and you know what? I do believe you will!

Episode 4 of season 8 is the only episode I have never watched and never will because I'm aware of Shiva's fate. I was really hoping it wouldn't be the same as it was in the comics which I also wish that was different as well.
