Walking Hanoi, Vietnam in Late Afternoon : Hai Bà Trưng District, Thống Nhất Park, Thanh Nhan Lake

I took a walk in the capital city of Hanoi, Vietnam during a late afternoon in the Hai Bà Trưng District to Thống Nhất Park and Metropolis Youth Park. This is a high end commercial and residential area of Hanoi, and I noticed many international restaurants around. It was wonderful to see people in the parks enjoying their day.

Wow, great walk. Although I shuddered a little when you mentioned Ministry of Information and Communications. It's interesting how cities in Asia and South East Asia aren't really built for pedestrians at all. (Philippines, Vietnam, India, etc)

Fascinating city AK. The parks are very nice. You really taking your life into your own hands by trying to cross the street like dodging a bullet. You even have to watch out for those bikers that are coming out from the side street. They don't stop! Do you know any of the language there? In a lot of ways the City and the Parks look a lot like the states. Amazing amount of hundreds of thousands of motorcycles and scooters. There's even a lot of our imported vehicles there. Gives me a better idea and perspective on what Vietnam looks like. ❤

The buildings are interesting with the Mixture of Old and New, but it seems there is no City ordinance of order, just like the Traffic, but it all seems to be Working in an Orderly Fashion, as the People seem to be Respectful and Responsible.
